Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong background in early childhood education.The position would start August 24 through May 28.Candidates must be able to commit to work consistently Monday-Friday from 8:00-12:45.Responsibilities: - Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment- Assist the lead teacher in preparing materials and cleaning the classroom- Ensure proper supervision of students at all times- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their development and address their unique needs by engaging in connection through play- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior in children.- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity between home and school environments- Assist in cleaning and maintaining the classroom- Receive and follow the directions of the lead teacher in assigned tasks- Attend monthly staff meetingsQualifications: - Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting required- Early Childhood Education knowledge and related training preferred - Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education - Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues - Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for young learnersJoining our team as a Preschool Teacher Assistant offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children while growing professionally in a supportive educational environment.Job Type: Part-timePay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
