Job Summary</b></h2></div><div><p>
The Strategic Pricing Analyst executes strategic pricing initiatives for assigned locations within a region by managing, analyzing, and monitoring pricing to support regional strategic and financial objectives. Ensures regional pricing activities are aligned with overall pricing strategy and drives execution of strategic plans.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><p><i>
Essential Functions</i></p><ul><li>
Analyzes and optimizes pricing related to local market conditions, special vendor and/or customer scenarios.</li><li>
Monitors exceptions related to price erosion and price adherence and drives improvement through root cause analysis, recommendation and implementation of improvement plans and/or activities</li><li>
Ensures customer price consistency, confidence, and profitability related to:<ul><li>
Market price relevance</li><li>
Multiple branch locations</li><li>
Special price agreements</li><li>
SKUs with low and negative gross margin</li><li>
Vendor price changes</li></ul></li><li>
Works cross-functionally with sales and branch leadership, cost analysts, and category managers to establish price management strategies, recommending pricing adjustments within the customer/product matrix based on value delivery and competitive dynamics.</li><li>
Engages, as needed, in sales planning discussions, to understand sales concerns, initiatives, and needs, aligning focus areas while providing analytical support for data driven decision-making.</li><li>
Provides actionable reporting and recommendations to optimize and improve profitability, as needed.</li><li>
Increases pricing awareness for internal teams through communication, training and reporting.</li><li>
Provides pricing consultation to branches and acts as a primary contact point within the assigned region.</li><li>
Engages branches to identify key pricing issues and facilitate effective two-way communication between branches and centralized pricing teams.</li><li>
Actively participates in pricing management activities, especially gathering, organizing, and communicating feedback.</li><li>
Develops and coordinates pricing plans and activities with branch and regional personnel that align with their annual strategic and financial goals.</li><li>
Drives pricing performance improvement by coordinating and facilitating regular review of key metrics with branches in the region</li><li>
Maintains a consistent physical presence in each branch throughout the region.</li><li>
Attend branch or sales meetings when requested and will provide needed procurement updates or strategy changes.</li><li>
Works directly with corporate teams to ensure that commercial direction of each branch is reflected in our open-market pricing strategies.</li><li>
Shares relevant pricing feedback and market trends with corporate teams and other regions.</li><li>
Collaborates with branch, regional and corporate sales, marketing and procurement personnel to assemble market price level intelligence, collects competitive feedback and drives necessary price aggregation improvements.</li></ul><p></p><p><i><br>

Maintains basic branch and customer level sell price information within SAP.</li><li>
Assists branches with customer price files as needed.</li><li>
Coordinates Customer Price List reviews with branches.</li><li>

Qualifications</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, sales, marketing, technical or business degree preferred or the equivalent in work experience, required.</li><li>
3+ years prior procurement, sales, or marketing experience with good knowledge of electrical, utility, industrial or communication wiring products and systems preferred.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Power BI), internet, email and SAP software knowledge preferred.</li><li>
Must be able to read, write and speak in English.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
