Orthopedic facility looking to hire a billing specialist. Well organized and experienced in personal injury and workers compensation billing and collections. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.<ul><li>Able to handle calls with adjusters and attorneys.</li><li>Patient collections of co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, etc.</li><li>Attention to detail is necessary</li><li>Ability to negotiate outstanding balances with attorney's or patients</li><li>File and maintain organized documentation of all billing and record.</li><li>Follow set billing processes and procedures.</li><li>Update and review all accounts to keep records of payments up-to-date.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to multi-task and work well with others.</li><li>Must be self-motivated and self-directed; able to work without supervision.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong customer service skills and comfortable answering patient, insurance companies, and attorney questions.</li><li>Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.</li><li>Work with personal information and maintain patient confidentiality.</li><li>Knowledge of electronic billing preferred not required.</li></ul>Part time/ Full timeSalary based on experience.Starting at $20/hourJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourWork Location: In person
