Overview
Botanic Tonics is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Senior Social Media Strategist to shape the voice, presence, and impact of our brand across digital platforms. This role is about building visionary social strategies, leveraging community insights, and forging meaningful partnerships that deepen engagement and inform broader marketing initiatives. You&rsquo;ll lead the charge on organic and paid strategy, guide influencer and creator relationships, and empower our ambassadors and loyalists to authentically champion Botanic Tonics. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor, creative insight, and a passion for community to drive measurable brand growth and cultural relevance.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media &amp; Partnership Strategy<ul><li>
Own the organic and paid social strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching brand and growth objectives.</li><li>
Manage social media agency partners as needed to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.</li><li>
Identify and structure brand collaborations and partnerships, integrating them into social storytelling to maximize reach and business impact.</li><li>
Analyze cultural trends, competitor activity, and performance data to generate actionable insights, translating them into strategic recommendations that guide marketing strategy and mix.</li><li>
Define and track success metrics that measure impact beyond follower growth, emphasizing brand relevance, engagement quality, and conversion.</li></ul>
Community &amp; Engagement Strategy:<ul><li>
Develop and implement a community engagement strategy that connects campaigns with customer voices and amplifies brand messaging.</li><li>
Design frameworks to leverage community platforms during launches and initiatives for maximum reach and resonance.</li><li>
Equip ambassadors, creators, and loyalists with the resources and assets that make it easy&mdash;and exciting&mdash;for them to authentically champion Botanic Tonics.</li><li>
Establish feedback loops between the community and internal teams (Marketing, Product, CX) to ensure customer insights inform strategy and decision-making.</li></ul>
Influencer and Creator Strategy:<ul><li>
Build a long-term influencer and creator strategy centered on authenticity, brand alignment, and meaningful partnerships.</li><li>
Manage influencer relationships strategically, from selection and tiering to contracting, content rights, and campaign measurement.</li><li>
Create scalable playbooks that enable creators and ambassadors to complement in-house content and expand brand reach into new communities.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).</li><li>
4&ndash;7 years of experience in social media strategy and/or community building for a high-growth consumer brand (CPG experience a plus).</li><li>
Proven ability to develop and execute social strategies that integrate organic and paid initiatives, drive engagement, and deliver measurable business results.</li><li>
Experience managing agencies and/or cross-functional partners effectively.</li><li>
Skilled at analyzing trends, cultural insights, and performance data to generate actionable strategic recommendations.</li><li>
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire internal teams, external partners, and community advocates.</li><li>
Familiarity with social analytics tools, influencer platforms, and emerging digital trends</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
