the Floor Manager represents the venue to clients and should treat managing client relationships as his priority, balanced with people development and operational management tasks.</li><li>Ultimately, the floor manager is expected to be the driving force for positive change in every area that relates to the floor manager&rsquo;s areas of responsibility, laid out in this document in three sections: guests, team and operational responsibilities.</li></ul>Guest Responsibilities-1- Guest Relations &amp; PR<ul><li>Drive the PR aspect of the role and focus on networking with guests; be a &lsquo;face&rsquo; for the brand</li><li>Create memorable experiences in service and engage digitally with guests outside of service.</li><li>Cultivate personal relationships to the point they facilitate repeat reservations.</li><li>Ensure PR efforts align with events, promotional activities and brand messaging.</li><li>Develop your approach to PR under the 1:1 guidance of the GM</li></ul>-2- Guest Experience<ul><li>Ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience, maintaining oversight of client satisfaction</li><li>Actively troubleshoot in the moment and engage with SOPs to mitigate reoccurrences.</li><li>Continually review and audit the customer journey, sharing findings and proposing improvements.</li><li>Proactively work with peers to improve experiences throughout the team.</li><li>Collect and analyse guest feedback to identify trends and propose improvements to the operations team.</li><li>Take responsibility for monitoring all aspects of client interaction to ensure satisfaction.</li></ul>-3- Client management<ul><li>Follow direction of GM &amp; collaborate with Reception manager in management of guest relationships</li><li>Oversee all guest interactions from the point the client is seated up to departure</li><li>Contribute effectively to the CRM and data strategy, &amp; maximise the effectiveness of waiter reporting</li><li>Develop data policy to understand guest preferences and tailor experiences accordingly.</li><li>Engage with and supervise structured systems of guest PR</li><li>Build expertise in SevenRooms &amp; contribute to maximising its effective usage.</li><li>Alongside GM, build relationships with local businesses and organisations to the benefit of the venue.</li></ul>Team Responsibilities-4- Team management<ul><li>Take full responsibility for the performance, development and behaviour of your team</li><li>Ensure the team is well-trained, highly engaged, and consistently meeting Botanica&rsquo;s standards.</li><li>Develop juniors into waiters, waiters into seniors and seniors into aspiring managers.</li><li>Regularly assess team performance and provide constructive feedback.</li><li>Engage in team-building to foster collaboration and morale.</li><li>Effectively plan, brief and coordinate the team for special events and promotions such as brunch.</li></ul>-5- Leadership &amp; Culture<ul><li>Operate as a role model and hold yourself accountable to a high standard of conduct at all times.</li><li>Build trust with those in your team, and take responsibility for each of their conduct.</li><li>Ensure that you take every opportunity to reinforce Botanica culture</li><li>Address and resolve team conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment.</li><li>Continually look to pre-empt emerging HR situations and address them appropriately.</li></ul>-6- Training &amp; Development<ul><li>Focus on training &amp; development, constantly assessing and identifying improvements</li><li>Lead weekly training sessions and aspire to take ownership of training program design</li><li>Take ownership of the Steps of Service and develop their usage effectively.</li><li>In service skill development; use opportunities in the working routine to enhance staff skills &amp; knowledge.</li><li>Proactively &amp; collaboratively execute training sessions together with other seniors.</li><li>Undertake and follow up on effective Professional Development Reviews (PDRs) with your team.</li><li>Lead by example, ensuring your product knowledge is beyond reproach</li></ul>-7- Team Administration &amp; Communication<ul><li>Consistently and effectively utilise the slack platform for yourself and your team.</li><li>Maintain a weekly 1 on 1 schedule with all team members.</li><li>Create, maintain and share accurate briefings, checklists and other relevant information.</li><li>Develop and update SOPs for all areas of operations where needed.</li><li>Manage your time and prioritise - delegate and supervise tasks effectively.</li><li>Use, maintain and organise administrative footprint within Google Drive as directed.</li><li>Restructure processes and workflows as needed, collaborating with GM/OM when required.</li><li>Roster management. Review and optimise shift schedules based on guest volume and staff availability.</li><li>Ensure accurate information is shared to accounts for instances such as staff tips &amp; bottle incentives</li></ul>-8- Team Recruitment &amp; Onboarding<ul><li>Take a central role in organising and driving all floor recruitment efforts</li><li>Conduct effective first interviews and share feedback.</li><li>Oversee effective cultural &amp; technical onboarding</li><li>Ensure all recruits are well assimilated into the team</li><li>Monitor probation periods carefully, issuing necessary reports and corrective feedback promptly.</li></ul>Operational Responsibilities-9- Senior Leadership<ul><li>Develop effective, high trust relationships with Reception, Bar, Kitchen &amp; Security leaders.</li><li>Engage with senior leadership routinely to provide effective feedback.</li><li>Contribute to discussions regarding strategic direction of the venue.</li><li>Ensure that policy is followed publicly, and amendments discussed privately.</li><li>Proactively adopt a &ldquo;How can I help&rdquo; mentality.</li></ul>-10- Financial Management<ul><li>Take full ownership of the daily financial closure of the venue</li><li>Lead on POS management; liaise closely with floor &amp; bar to maintain a high standard of POS functionality.</li><li>Utilise POS supplier support &amp; become an expert on Quadranet software</li><li>Ensure all POS is effectively monitored, that data is accurate and effectively managed.</li><li>Consult with department heads to develop pricing recommendations.</li><li>Develop a full understanding of F&amp;B cost control &amp; opportunities for increased profitability.</li></ul>-11- Inventory Management <ul><li>Take responsibility for the Sundries cost centre.</li><li>Ensure costs are maintained, orders are placed and weekly sundries inventory is managed.</li><li>Cost control: Identify areas for cost reduction without compromising quality.</li><li>Develop sundries supplier relationship and actively look for savings.</li><li>Take responsibility for non food &amp; beverage stores.</li></ul>-12- Standards &amp; upkeep<ul><li>Take ownership of the upkeep &amp; cleanliness of all customer facing areas.</li><li>Proactively direct and support your cleaning team.</li><li>Report and liase with the necessary maintenance contractors as needed.</li><li>Ensure the venue adheres to all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and health+safety standards.</li></ul>-13- Reports and analytics<ul><li>Provide an end of week operational report, and nightly after service reports.</li><li>Share, analyse &amp; action guest feedback.</li><li>Sales performance tracking: monitor sales trends and develop strategies to increase revenue.</li><li>Develop understanding of the local market &amp; competitive set.</li><li>Engage with monitoring and driving effective use of complementary items.</li></ul>-14- Growth<ul><li>Retain a focus on your own professional development.</li><li>Show drive to be a highly effective floor manager, and aspire toward future trainee GM roles.</li><li>Lay the foundation for future growth through reputation and high trust relationships.</li><li>Initiative for growth is expected to come from within &amp; will be fully supported by company management</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: BD1,000.000 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Please share your current employment situation &amp; address anything that is not clearly apparent from your CV.</li><li>Please indicate which parts of the job description shared in the advert that you find particularly interesting and would like to discuss further at interview, and why.</li><li>Please share your CPR number to confirm current visa validity, or if lacking a CPR please comment on your current visa/geographic status.
