Hello there!We&rsquo;re an ambitious online spirits technology facilitator &amp; SaaS launching a new ecommerce division that blends premium curation (whiskey, tequila, vodka, etc.) with bold storytelling and AI-powered creative. Inspired by brands like Flaviar, ReserveBar, and DTC shops, we&rsquo;re building a digital-first, lifestyle-driven spirits company centered around our unique brandWe&rsquo;re looking for a Head of Marketing who&rsquo;s equal parts growth strategist, creative visionary, and AI-native operator to drive our e-commerce growth, oversee marketing staff/contractors, and establish our brand as the most innovative ecommerce shop.Responsibilities<ul><li>Marketing Leadership</li><li>Define and own the overall marketing and growth strategy (paid, organic, brand, retention).</li><li>Lead and oversee staff/contractors across paid media, social, content, influencer, and AI media production.</li><li>Manage marketing budget and optimize for ROI/ROAS.</li><li>E-Commerce Growth</li><li>Own demand generation across paid ads (Google, Meta, TikTok), email/SMS, SEO, affiliates, and influencer partnerships.</li><li>Oversee site optimization (Shopify experience a must) for conversions and AOV growth.</li><li>Build and scale loyalty programs, referral programs, and retention marketing.</li><li>AI-Native Marketing</li><li>Use AI tools (image, video, voice, text) to generate brand assets, product storytelling, and campaign creative (e.g., bringing the brand to life via avatars, reels, and generative media).</li><li>Build systems for scalable content production &mdash; AI plus human oversight.</li><li>Innovate in new storytelling formats (e.g., content series, AI video product reviews, immersive campaigns).</li><li>Brand &amp; Team Leadership</li><li>Translate our brand story into consistent, creative campaigns across all channels.</li><li>Collaborate with leadership on positioning, product launches, and seasonal promotions.</li><li>Hire, manage, and mentor a hybrid team of marketers, creatives, and AI specialists.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a Marketing or related area</li><li>Proven track record in e-commerce growth marketing (Shopify, DTC, or retail brand).</li><li>Experience as a Head of Marketing, Growth Lead, or Senior Marketing Manager.</li><li>Strong knowledge of paid media, retention marketing, and funnel optimization.</li><li>Deep familiarity with generative AI tools (MidJourney, Runway, Pika, Sora, D-ID, ElevenLabs, Jasper, etc.).</li><li>Comfortable overseeing AI content pipelines (avatars, product review videos, ad creatives).</li><li>Strong creative instincts &mdash; able to balance data-driven ROI focus with bold brand storytelling.</li><li>Leadership skills: experience managing teams, freelancers, or agencies.</li><li>Bonus: background in CPG, alcohol/spirits, or highly regulated industries.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>A ground-floor leadership role in building a category-defining online spirits brand.</li><li>Significant autonomy to design and execute marketing strategy.</li><li>Competitive salary + performance incentives.</li><li>The chance to shape a bold new AI-first brand storytelling model in e-commerce.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
