<p>
Safely and properly transport small machines and specialty attachments with medium heavy-duty truck and trailer to company sites and customer locations.</p>
<p><b>
Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Open and close the rental yard per company procedure</li>
<li>Perform daily vehicle safety inspections on truck and trailer, promptly report any issues to manager</li>
<li>Communicate with manager on maintenance issues and preventative maintenance of truck and trailer</li>
<li>Properly load, secure, and unload machines, equipment, and specialty attachments per company procedure</li>
<li>Properly plan routes and schedules to meet customers' expectations</li>
<li>Notify manager if route is compromised causing a delay in delivery of heavy equipment or attachments</li>
<li>Safely deliver and pick up heavy equipment and specialty attachments</li>
<li>Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records utilizing e-log system.</li>
<li>Promptly inform supervisor of difficulties with deliveries or pickups</li>
<li>Verify order details and obtains customer signature on delivery ticket</li>
<li>Provide excellent customer service during the delivery transaction</li>
<li>Instruct customers on machine and equipment operation, utilizing Standard Operating Procedures if needed</li>
<li>Promptly notify management of damages or mechanical issues to equipment or specialty attachments</li>
<li>Responsible for providing manager with proper delivery documents, so that counts can be verified prior to unloading equipment and attachments at Service Center</li>
<li>Responsible for extraction of keys in vehicle or haul equipment upon delivery back to Service Center</li>
<li>Report all safety incidents or violations immediately to supervisor</li>
<li>Follow Standard Operating Procedures while carrying out the responsibilities of position</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines</li>
<li>Comply with all government safety requirements and other regulations</li>
<li>Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in written or verbal form</li>
<li>Attend all Department, Service Center and Safety meetings<b>

</div></div><p><b>Education &amp; Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required</li>
<li>Valid Class A CDL, along with an excellent Motor Vehicle Record required</li>
<li>Gooseneck trailers/RGN trailers and construction equipment experience required</li>
<li>Knowledge of and understanding of current DOT and FMCSA laws and regulations required</li>
<li>Knowledge of frequently used Sales and Customer Relations Concepts, Practices and Procedures</li>
