<div>We are currently seeking a talented CAAS Chief Financial Officer to join our Client Accounting and Advisory Services department.

The CAAS Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for managing the firm's ongoing financial reporting operations on behalf of their assigned outsourced accounting clients, serving as a Trusted Advisor, and mentoring the CAAS team. This position also works cross-departmentally with other Boulay Departments, provides support with team budgets, and contributes to the profit of the practice's functional area (which may include mentoring the team, building the business, and ensuring the team delivers exceptional client service). 
 
Client-Facing and Technical Work:
<ul><li>Provide Strategic CFO consulting functions to CAAS Clients &ndash; from client proposal to final work products</li>
<li>Establish and maintain the budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and other long-term financial planning and cost management resources
</li><li>Manage capital planning, risk management, and the analysis of financial ratios and key performance indicators (KPIs)
</li><li>Primary point of contact for the client's professional team, including the board of directors, attorneys, insurance and financial experts, banks, etc.</li>
<li>Integrated resource and performance planning, solutions implementation, and management with other business areas (marketing &amp; sales, HR, technology)</li>
<li>Oversee all aspects of Management Reporting and Analysis, as well as other technical work products</li>
<li>Promote business through participation in business development activities</li>
<li>Oversee and manage the budget on assigned engagements
</li><li>Offer specialized knowledge in a particular industry or service area</li>
<li>Assist CAAS Director and Partners in proposal and cross-sell opportunities</li>
<li>Serve as a backup in completing all aspects of client work.</li>
</ul>
Leadership Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Be a key member of the overall CAAS practice, supporting a shared vision, coaching and motivating team members, and building a spirit of trust within the team.</li>
<li>Ensure that &ldquo;best practices&rdquo; are developed and used within the Transaction Group, including policies, processes, and tools.</li>
<li>Seek new ways and better ideas for accomplishing job and Firm goals</li>
<li>Serve as an Advisor for employees on the CAAS Team.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
Required:<ul>
<li>
Bachelor's degree
</li><li>7+ years of related experience</li>
<li>3+ years of supervisory experience</li>
<li>CPA Licensure
</li><li>Strong business acumen, along with the ability to identify and prepare business insights beyond basic financial statements</li>
<li>Strong ability to engage in strategic client conversations beyond core financial areas.</li>
</ul>
Preferred:<ul>
<li>
Experience with QuickBooks
</li><li>NetSuite and Sage Intact a plus
</li></ul>The annual salary range for this position is: $140,000 - $200,000. This salary range reflects the anticipated responsibilities and qualifications of a successful candidate for this role. Final compensation may vary depending upon an individual's experience, knowledge, and skills. Individuals may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of incentives, commissions, profit sharing, and more, depending on the role.
