With a full a la carte dining room, multiple bars, banquet facilities, and frequent member events, we strive each day to deliver refined, warm, and professional hospitality.We are seeking talented, service-driven individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and can flex between dinner service and large banquet events with ease.Position SummaryAs a Server / Bartender, you will split your time between the main dining room / bar and banquet service. You should be comfortable working in a high-volume fine dining environment and rising to the pace and demands of banquet events (weddings, receptions, member functions). Flexibility, a positive attitude, strong beverage and food knowledge, and teamwork are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesDining Room / Bar Service<ul><li>Greet, seat, and attend to members and guests in the dining room and bar areas.</li><li>Take food and beverage orders knowledgeably and accurately; upsell when appropriate.</li><li>Pour and serve wine, beer, spirits, and mixed drinks; make classic and seasonal cocktails.</li><li>Maintain a working knowledge of menu items, daily specials, ingredients, and preparation times.</li><li>Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timeliness and accuracy.</li><li>Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to issues promptly and courteously.</li><li>Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties (e.g. polishing glassware, restocking supplies, cleaning stations).</li></ul>Banquet / Event Service<ul><li>Attend pre-function or pre-shift meetings to review event orders and timelines (e.g. Catering Event Orders, Banquet Event Orders).</li><li>Assist in setup of banquet rooms: linen, centerpieces, place settings, buffet or plated service stations, beverage stations.</li><li>Serve food and beverage to guests in banquet settings, manage course timing and coordination with kitchen.</li><li>Clear tables, remove linens, clean, reset for subsequent events, and break down service areas post-event.</li><li>Support bar operations during events (man bar, satellite bars, portable bars) as needed.</li></ul>General / Shared Duties<ul><li>Adhere to all club policies, state and local alcohol service laws, and food safety / sanitation standards.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization in your assigned service areas, bars, and storage rooms.</li><li>Assist teammates during peak periods (e.g. bussing, running food, restocking) when volume demands.</li><li>Accurately process payments, charge to member accounts, manage tabs, and complete closing paperwork.</li><li>Be flexible to work shifts that include nights, weekends, holidays, double shifts, etc.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Prior experience in a restaurant, upscale dining, or country club environment strongly preferred.</li><li>Ability to multitask, handle a fast pace, and maintain composure under pressure (especially in banquet settings).</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.</li><li>Ability to stand for long hours, carry trays, lift up to 30&ndash;40 lbs, bend, stoop, and walk the dining floor.</li><li>Flexibility in schedule: nights, weekends, holidays, holidays, and event shifts.</li><li>Attention to detail, professional appearance, and commitment to high standards.</li><li>Team player mentality, with a willingness to help across roles.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive base hourly wage plus tips (or tip pooling / service charge structure, as per club policy)</li><li>Flexible scheduling</li><li>Employee meals during shifts</li><li>Use of club facilities when available (e.g. golf)</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li></ul>Why Join Boulder Ridge Country Club?<ul><li>Work in a respected private club with a loyal membership base and high standards.</li><li>Gain experience across both dining service and banquet/event operations.</li><li>A dynamic role where each shift can be different&mdash;from refined dinner service to a 300-guest wedding.</li><li>Collaborative, professional environment where quality, consistency, and hospitality matter every day.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Food provided</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
