Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist in planning, initiation, and oversight of the projects within the program and provide input/justification for budget requirements and impacts.
</li><li>Assist in preparing and formatting briefs.</li><li>Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken to reassess and amend the scope of work requirement, budget, and timeline.

Qualifications:

Ensure specimen containers are closed, labeled with patient identification, and recorded in the specimen accountability ledger for processing in accordance with department procedures.</li><li>
Assist with capturing and collecting various workload data and statistics, which is provided to the supervisor for presentation at the monthly departmental Performance Improvement Committee meetings.</li><li>
Receive, evaluate, accession, and sort laboratory specimens prior to MHS Genesis validation.</li><li>
Ensure proper specimen type and labeling for delivery to laboratory sections or shipping to external reference laboratories. Maintain and organize the work area, ensuring adherence to local safety and infection control protocols.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required at a minimum in addition to at least two (2+) years&rsquo; experience in a hospital administrative environment.
</li><li>Administrative experience in a government and/or hospital setting highly desired.</li><li>
Intermediate level computer/PC knowledge required including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.</li><li>
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven office environment where privacy and confidentiality is critical while working alone and in teams to ensure mission success.</li><li>

Bowhead seeks a Management and Support Procurement Specialist, for a short term, temporary support (early July to mid October), of the Engineering Prototype Fabrication Shop in Dahlgren, VA. This position supports day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring materials and services are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time to meet production needs.</p>
Responsibilities:

The work environment is active and primarily shop-focused, with regular interaction between office staff, shop personnel, and government representatives such as the COR. Flexibility and a practical, solutions-oriented approach are important, as priorities can shift based on production demands. Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, tracking deliveries, and helping resolve supply or scheduling issues. The ability to handle multiple tasks at once and stay organized is essential. Strong communication skills are important for working across teams and with suppliers. While the setting can be informal at times, professionalism and reliability are expected. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to follow through on tasks in a dynamic environment. The Procurement Specialist helps ensure the right materials are available when needed, supporting overall shop productivity.</div><div></div><div><br>
