JOB DESCRIPTIONThis is a full-time position open for immediate hire. As a Junior Draft and CAD Designer, you&rsquo;ll work on real-world projects both individually and in a team, developing technical drawings, models, and production-ready designs. If you&rsquo;re ambitious to grow in a rewarding role, and want to help foster a great workplace for others, then we&rsquo;re a right fit for each other!Description of some of your daily responsibilities:<ul><li>Create detailed CAD drawings using software such as Fusion 360, DraftSight, or SolidWorks</li><li>Assist with preparing technical documentation and design specifications</li><li>Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements and translate them into accurate CAD files</li><li>Revise drawings and models based on feedback or engineering updates</li><li>Maintain organized files and documentation of all design work for easy retrieval and reference</li><li>Stay curious&mdash;learn new drafting methods, design tools, and CAD best practices</li><li>Work well both individually after instruction has been given and in team environments to complete projects well and on-time</li></ul>COMPENSATION<ul><li>$34,000 to $39,000 annual salary, depending on experience</li><li>Bonus potential based on performance</li><li>Potential for rapid growth in the company provided to those without outstanding reliability and performance in their roles</li><li>Paid holidays when the office is closed (New Years, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)</li><li>14 days of paid vacation annually</li><li>Medical insurance coverage</li><li>Dental insurance coverage</li><li>Vision insurance coverage</li><li>Life insurance coverage</li></ul>BENEFICIAL ASPECTS<ul><li>Small family-like office environment where your thoughts are heard and input is valued</li><li>We value and reward people who take initiative and are self-starters</li><li>Easygoing and positive team members</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Must have professional email/written and oral communication skills</li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills</li><li>Must be detail-oriented and have strong analytical skills</li><li>Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate</li><li>Strong enthusiasm and commitment</li><li>Must be reliable and commit to a consistent schedule</li><li>Basic knowledge of CAD drafting and 3D modeling concepts</li><li>Experience with any of the following software: Fusion 360, DraftSight, or SolidWorks</li><li>Coursework or hands-on projects related to drafting, product design, or engineering</li><li>High school graduate or equivalent</li><li>40 hours a week minimum is required</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States</li></ul>THE COMPANYBoxWave Technologies is a company focused on the latest and coolest gadgets!
