We are committed to fostering a positive work environment that values your skills and encourages professional growth.Duties<ul><li>Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, and implant surgery, ensuring smooth and efficient patient flow</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays and utilize medical imaging tools such as 3D scanners to assist in accurate diagnoses and treatment planning</li><li>Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Epic to ensure precise documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and medical coding</li><li>Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort levels before, during, and after procedures to promote safety and well-being</li><li>Support front desk operations by performing dental receptionist duties including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and insurance verification</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in the applicable jurisdiction</li><li>Proven experience in dental assisting within a busy dental clinic environment, with knowledge of general dentistry procedures</li><li>Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic; familiarity with medical documentation and records management</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques</li><li>Experience with chairside assisting in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable</li><li>Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools safely and effectively</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards for accurate record keeping in healthcare settings</li></ul>We value energetic professionals eager to grow their skills while providing exceptional service in a supportive team environment.
