POSITION OVERVIEW 
As Office Clerk, you will work collaboratively with the on-site leadership team and program staff at Costano Elementary, where we provide academic support and enrichment offerings to K-5 students. You will provide office, administrative, and logistical support to ensure our program can run in an efficient and safe manner.

ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Manage the administrative and site operations of the BGCP office during program hours</li>
<li>Greet, monitor, and track all members and visitors on site, including parents and volunteers</li>
<li>Maintain inventories of office supplies, first aid supplies, and program materials</li>
<li>Handle the student sign-in and sign-out process</li>
<li>Answer phone calls and promptly return messages</li>
<li>Foster a positive work atmosphere, encourage teamwork, and facilitate constructive exchange of ideas with peers</li>
<li>Assist in planning and executing special events as required</li>
<li>Manage site enrollment and daily attendance</li>
<li>Build positive relationships with students, supporting BGCP behavior standards and discipline policies</li>
<li>Supervise youth as needed, either in the office or as coverage for a classroom instructor</li>
<li>Communicate with students and families regarding enrollment and attendance matters</li>
<li>Generate and share attendance and membership reports with site leadership staff to meet ASES reporting requirements</li>
<li>Enter all enrollment data into Salesforce, BGCP's database</li>
<li>Perform additional relevant duties as assigned</li>

QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Spanish fluency is required</li>
<li>Commitment to BGCP's mission and vision and working with youth</li>
<li>Experience working with diverse youth and communities of color</li>
<li>Keen attention to detail and ability to create systems for efficiency and effectiveness</li>
<li>Maturity and strong communication skills</li>
<li>Energy, leadership skills, strong initiative, ability to motivate through positive reinforcement</li>
<li>Positive attitude, team player, strong customer service orientation</li>
<li>Administrative experience with an excellent knowledge of standard office practices
</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT 
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; and some stooping, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, crouching, squatting, and/or crawling. The role also requires significant fine finger dexterity and near vision acuity. The position may occasionally involve lifting or carrying objects up to 25 pounds. Generally, the job requires approximately 20% sitting and 80% walking or standing. The work environment noise level is typically moderate but may occasionally be louder. All requirements are subject to reasonable accommodations.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 2:00pm - 6:15pm

Wednesday: 12:15pm - 6:15pm

COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS

<li>Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00/hour, depending on experience (DOE)</li>

<li>Sick Time: Part-time employees accrue sick time at a rate of 1 hour for every 20 hours worked, and may use up to 40 hours per year</li>

POSITION OVERVIEW 
The High School Program Leader in academics is responsible for supporting the student's academic needs through one-on-one tutoring, group tutoring, and academic advising. This role will provide you with valuable professional development and personal growth opportunities as you will have the chance to work with different grade bands (9th-12th). This role is for those who are available to work 5 days a week during the school year at Redwood City Clubhouse in Redwood City, CA and reports to the Academic Director. Drawing upon best practices in youth development, you will guide students to build academic and life skills in a meaningful, fun context.

ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Manage various program spaces with approximately 20 students per 1 staff</li>
<li>Provide academic advising and homework assistance</li>
<li>Lead students through guided enrichment and/or community building activities</li>
<li>Communicate with parents/guardians, school staff, and BGCP leadership</li>
<li>Maintain a positive, safe, productive work environment</li>
<li>Participate in supporting special events and field trips</li>
<li>Attend training and professional development opportunities</li>
<li>Perform additional relevant duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Commitment to BGCP's mission and vision and working with 9th - 12th grade youth</li>
<li>Familiarity working with students who attend Title 1 schools</li>
<li>Experience building relationships with diverse youth communities and constituents</li>
<li>Ability to motivate through positive reinforcement</li>
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
<li>Flexible in navigating a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Preferred one year of experience working with 9th - 12th grade youth</li>
<li>Spanish fluency is a plus</li>
