Job Summary:Coordinate in planning, organizing, and implementing program/activities in relation to social recreation for members 6-14.Responsibilities:&middot; Assist with directing structured social recreation programming for the Club for members 6-14 years.&middot; Organize assigned programs and activities for sports and recreation programming.&middot; Provides support to the Club sites with outcome goals and objectives based on needs of members, families, and community.&middot; Establishes and maintains a rapport with Club staff and parents.&middot; Have the ability to enforce Boys &amp; Girls Club rules and policies in a fair manner.&middot; Tracks member participation in assigned program areas.&middot; Assists as directed with individual sports programs such as: hockey, soccer, and basketball.&middot; Provides instruction and engages with members with programming within the Core Program area.&middot; Works with both staff and volunteers to support the Club&rsquo;s sports and social recreation programs.&middot; Encourages emotional, social, and educational growth of individual members.Experience and SkillsEducation Requirements:&middot; High School Diploma or equivalency.&middot; Associate or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Childhood Education, Business, Recreation or related field preferred.Experience Requirements:&middot; Experience in program implementation.&middot; Experience directly related to youth and youth programming.&middot; Experience or course of study in elementary, secondary education, child development or child psychology preferred.Skills:&middot; Enjoys working with youth ages 6-14 years old.&middot; Demonstrated examples of working with youth.&middot; Group management.Job Type: Part-timePay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
