Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings including acute care, emergency medicine, and outpatient services. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient management and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Duties<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.</li><li>Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans.</li><li>Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions.</li><li>Utilizes EMR system, eClinicalWorks for accurate patient documentation and data management.</li><li>Provide triage services in urgent care settings.</li><li>Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Flexible scheduling, alternating weekends.</li><li>Current certification as a Physician Assistant with relevant state licensure.</li><li>Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and documentation standards.</li><li>Experience in various specialties such as pediatrics, geriatrics, internal medicine, occupational health, or infectious disease care is preferred.</li><li>Strong clinical skills including suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization, and basic life support.</li><li>Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology is advantageous.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork within a healthcare setting.</li><li>Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining quality patient care standards. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their clinical knowledge and experience during the interview process.
