<p></p><div><ul><li>About the Role: We are looking for a Shopify Tech Lead who can architect, develop, and lead the implementation of complex Shopify solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Shopify Plus, app development, custom theme development, backend programming (NodeJS or Python), and integration with third-party systems (ERP, CRM, Payment gateways, etc.). You&rsquo;ll lead a team of Shopify developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, BA, PM), and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries aligned with client goals. Key Responsibilities: &middot; Lead end-to-end Shopify, Shopify Plus and Shopify for Enterprise development projects &mdash; from requirement gathering to go-live. &middot; Architect scalable and high-performing Shopify solutions with a focus on performance, SEO, and conversion. &middot; Oversee and mentor the development team &mdash; perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices. &middot; Collaborate with the Sales team, Designers, BAs, and PMs to translate business needs into technical solutions, define architecture, provide an estimation and be able to give demos. &middot; Develop custom Shopify apps, backend services (using NodeJS or Python), API integrations, and third-party service connections. &middot; Manage Shopify migrations from other platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, or custom builds. &middot; Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Shopify stores. &middot; Drive automation, reusability, and adoption of AI-driven tools for faster and better-quality output. &middot; Ensure compliance with security, performance, and accessibility standards. &middot; Stay updated with new Shopify releases, Liquid updates, and eCommerce trends. Technical Skills Required: &middot; Strong expertise in Shopify, Shopify Plus, and Liquid templating language. &middot; Experience in custom theme and app development (public and private). &middot; Proficiency in any one backend technology &mdash; NodeJS or Python (NodeJS preferred). &middot; Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, and REST/GraphQL APIs. &middot; Experience with Shopify API integrations (ERP, CRM, Payment, Shipping). &middot; Familiarity with Headless Commerce and frontend frameworks (ReactJS, Next.js) is a plus. &middot; Knowledge of Shopify CLI, GIT, Azure DevOps, and deployment pipelines. &middot; Experience in optimizing Shopify SEO, site speed, and conversion tracking. &middot; Understanding of Shopify Storefront API and Hydrogen framework (preferred). &middot; Good understanding of Shopify Apps ecosystem and marketplace submission guidelines. . Vibe coding, AI based development, should be required Leadership &amp; Soft Skills: &middot; Proven ability to lead and mentor a small to mid-sized team. &middot; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. &middot; Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with clients and stakeholders. &middot; Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. &middot; Eagerness to learn new technologies, adapt to evolving tools, exploring AI-assisted development and drive innovation.</li></ul></div>
