Hours: 6:00 a.m.-02:30 p.m. (Hours May Vary)</p>

Wage: $21.81/hour base wage</p>

(ability to earn up to $23.93 if able to train as Machine Operator)</p><br>

JOB SUMMARY: This is a position combining roles of both the transporter and scaler, to help where most needed. Transporter Duties to include: supply materials to the Packing Room, lift and stack pallets of boxes, and transport finished product to the freezer. Scaler Duties to include: Weigh boxes of product to designated specifications, complete necessary paperwork or computer entry and perform temperature and metal detector checks.</p><br>

<p>
TRANSPORTER JOB DUTIES:</p>
<ul>
<li>Supply necessary materials, such as boxes, labels, bags, etc. to the Packing Room, to support daily production operations.</li>
<li>Complete daily equipment checklist prior to operating pallet jack.</li>
<li>Handle part boxes of product to ensure they are put in proper location in freezer. Also, pull product from freezer to be worked into the line operation.</li>
<li>Know freezer locations and proper storage locations for product.</li>
<li>Stack skids. Assist in making boxes and operate the skid wrapper.</li>
<li>Complete all required paperwork. Enter pallet tickets and other information into the computer as required.</li>
<li>Job requires frequent bending, lifting and twisting throughout the work shift. Will be required to lift and stack product at and above shoulder level.</li>
<li>Keep work area clean.</li>
<li>Other duties as needed or assigned.</li></ul><br>

SCALER JOB DUTIES:</p>
<ul>
<li>Set up and operate scale and tape machine.</li>
<li>Arrange packing room for the product being run.</li>
<li>Perform frozen temperature and metal detector checks.</li>
<li>Advise packers of product type and how product is to be packed.</li>
<li>Weigh all boxes to meet minimum weight and counts.</li>
<li>Check scale for proper tare.</li>
<li>Ensure proper label, stamp and date code are on boxes.</li>
<li>Keep work area clean.</li>
<li>May be required to bend, lift and twist frequently throughout the work shift.</li>
<li>Other duties as needed or assigned.</li>
</ul>
<div><p>OPERATOR JOB DUTIES:
</p></div><div><ul><li><p>Machine set up and operation which includes: leveling, filling, moving machines, speed and adjustments</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Batter test and fried weight temperature checks: FC or Blanched</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintain all cooking systems which include: adjusting speeds and belt heights, scraping tubes, checking fryer temperatures, checking filter system, monitoring control panels, monitoring oil levels in fryer tank, know Gyro and freezer operation</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Able to perform marinator operations: reading batch sheets and formulating loads.</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Know 8 digit product codes</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Operate and fill Wilevco; Operate Toledo system</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Operate Formax and marinator and other equipment as required</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Know cooler locations and functions, supply line with raw materials</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Operate jack in a safe and responsible manner</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintain a clean and safe work environment</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Complete required paperwork and entry into the computer</p>
</li>
</ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Knowledge and understanding of the HACCP program.</p>
</li>

</ul></div><p></p><p>WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.</p><br>

QUALIFICATIONS: Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must pass company physical classification test for essential functions of the position (back and task).</p><br>
