JOB DESCRIPTION 


Summary: Under the direction of the HR Supervisor, the HR Admin performs the necessary functions to support the entire HR &amp; Safety Team. The position requires frequent contact with personnel inside and outside the company, requiring reasonable tact, discretion, interpersonal skills, and working knowledge of HR policies and procedures. 


Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Supports and assists Human Resources &amp; Safety teams in multiple functions, such as compliance, benefits, recruiting, and onboarding.</li>
<li>Acts as the main administrator for the Human Resources office, including personnel data entry and file management, invoicing, voicemails, and employee call-ins.</li>
<li>Acts as the first point of contact for employees and visitors, directing questions and calls appropriately.</li>
<li>Assist and support coordination of events on-site.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Performs clerical duties as needed (printing, sort mail, sending fax communications, filing, etc.)</li></ul> 


Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Must have at least two years of administrative experience in an office environment</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Attention to detail: strong organizational, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.</li>
<li>Proven computer literacy in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li>
<li>Bilingual (Spanish/English)</li></ul> 


Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Post-secondary degree</li>
<li>Prior experience in a food processing or manufacturing facility</li>
<li>Prior experience with SAP</li></ul> 


Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities. 


Work Environment: The work environment is an office environment with standard temperatures and normal office noise levels. 


Physical Demands: This position would be primarily sitting with little to no lifting or other physical demands. Subject to extended periods of sitting, working on PC and talking on telephone. 


Travel: Travel is not required.
