Brasfield &amp; Gorrie is searching for a Superintendent. A successful candidate should ideally have commerical construction experience, be willing to travel and can meet the following requirements:</div><ul><li>
Advocates safety as number one priority on the jobsite and enforces compliance with company and jobsite safety plan and policies and all safety-related regulations</li><li>
Partners with Estimating, Division Management and Project Management to supervise, direct, and coordinate management of construction projects, including direct liaison with owner, designers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and orderly performance of the job</li><li>
Develops and implements detailed schedules and production plans with budget and safety goals in mind</li><li>
Assists Project Manager in the preparation of project status reports</li><li>
Responsible for daily reports, progress reports, compliance reports and logs</li><li>
Oversees the review of plans and drawings in accordance with contract documents and the coordination of shop drawings</li><li>
Procures tools and materials needed for the project to ensure availability according to the work schedule</li><li>
Determines staffing levels and timing considering building methodology as well as the availability of tools and equipment for each phase of the construction project</li><li>
Recruits, hires and directs the work of all company onsite field personnel in accordance with HR processes and procedures</li><li>
Prepares or oversees submission of payroll to Payroll Department and all documentation required to comply with HR and Payroll policies and procedures</li><li>
Confers with supervisory personnel and employees (with appropriate assistance from HR and Legal) to resolve complaints and grievances within the work force</li><li>
Works with supervisory personnel and employees, engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors, and supplier of tools and materials to improve construction methods and resolve construction issues</li><li>
Ensures construction schedules are adhered to by determining appropriate staffing levels and material and tool procurement</li><li>
Supervises and coordinates subcontractors to monitor their compliance with subcontract terms</li><li>
Follows and enforces company policies and procedures</li><li>

Must have a valid driver's license</li><li>

Brasfield &amp; Gorrie has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Manager to join our team. Responsibilities and general duties include the following:</div><br>

Assist project team including Superintendent and Project Manager onsite with quality control efforts and help lead the culture of quality on the jobsite
</li><li>Maintain physical presence on jobsite during work performed in area of responsibility</li><li>
Perform and document the three phases of control, final inspections, and closeout</li><li>
Inspect all materials, construction, plant and equipment for conformance with the technical specifications</li><li>
Perform all QC tests as required by the technical specifications</li><li>
Ensure that the completed project meets all quality requirements of the contract</li><li>
Verify that all provisions have been made to provide required quality control testing</li><li>
Monitor contactor&rsquo;s daily work progress</li><li>
Check dimensional requirements and verify calibration records of IMT Equipment</li><li>
Visually inspect materials received on site for proper documentation, completeness, and condition</li><li>
Observe and coordinate all required tests and inspections to verify that they are in compliance with the specifications
</li><li>Complete and maintain accurate records of inspections and tests</li><li>
Ensure the proper documentation and corrective action of all deficiencies in materials and workmanship is done in a timely manner</li><li>
Conduct routine surveillances and maintain the system for document control on the project and jobsite
</li><li>Work closely with all testing agencies to verify that all tests are properly performed</li><li>
Assist in the development of a Site-Specific Quality Plan which ensures that all contractual requirements are carried out in conformance to Contract Documents and applicable standards</li><li>
Maintain procedures and carry out field training activities to ensure that quality requirements are communicated to all levels of the field organization, including trade contractors</li><li>
Communicate the quality control plan to all parties involved in the construction project such as Quality Assurance, Subcontractors, Architect and Engineer</li></ul>
Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications &amp; Experience:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering or construction management required</li><li>
Five (5) years of related field experience in heavy industrial, wastewater treatment plant, infrastructure, or power plant construction
</li><li>USACE/NAVFAC QCM Certified preferred</li><li>
Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and technical specifications</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)</li><li>
Technical knowledge of quality control processes</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Travel and relocation may be required</li></ul></div>
