**Position Overview:** 
We are seeking a passionate and committed Grade 6 Teacher who is dedicated to providing high-quality education and nurturing the academic and social growth of our sixth-grade students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum standards and innovative teaching practices suited to the needs of young learners.

**Key Responsibilities:**
<ul><li>Plan and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.</li><li>Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.</li><li>Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.</li><li>Collaborate with fellow teachers, school staff, and parents to support students' educational and social development.</li><li>Utilize classroom technology effectively to enhance the learning experience.</li><li>Stay current with educational practices and participate in professional development opportunities.</li></ul>
 
**Qualifications:**
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.</li><li>Valid Connecticut teaching certification.</li><li>Proven teaching experience, preferably in Grade 6.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to develop and implement lesson plans effectively.</li><li>Passionate about working with young learners and contributing to their growth.</li></ul>
