Under the general direction of the Materials Operations Supervisors, the Materials Specialist maintains the warehouse inventory, shipping, receiving, and transportation of materials. This person will be working with the Maintenance Department at the station to ensure adequate supply of materiel for aircraft maintenance and ensure material needs are met throughout the organization. Material Specialists work with others to execute logistics in a detail-oriented, dynamic, and safe environment.</p><br>

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Here's what you'll do</b></h3>
<ul><li>Responsible for daily oversight of Material Stores and Line Material operations</li>
<li>Oversee and problem-solve issues associated with inventory accuracy, parts issuing, shipping, receiving, stocking, material handling, and equipment</li>
<li>Responsible for warehouse operations of Technical and Non-Technical inventory</li>
<li>Perform data entry into the company inventory system to include locating, issuing, receiving, shipping of materials, warehousing of supplies, tools, and materials</li>
<li>Collaborate with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) for movement of inventory, tooling, and special equipment for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery</li>
<li>Monitor and update stock items, minimum and maximum stock levels, and coordinate stock level adjustments with Maintenance, Purchasing, and/or other departments within the company</li>
<li>Perform inventory audits, inspections, inventory reconciliations, and maintain compliance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM)</li>
<li>Conduct physical inventory, ensuring adherence to minimum and maximum stock levels</li>
<li>Work in conjunction with Maintenance and Quality departments to complete calibrated tooling, Shelf-Life audits, and replacements for monthly regulatory compliance</li>
<li>Perform periodic receiving inspection functions as assigned to by Quality Control</li>
<li>Prepare Hazmat material shipments in accordance with International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations</li>
<li>Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance Planning to prepare fleet modification kits</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Materials</li>
<li>Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Here's what you need to be successful</b></h3>
<p><b>
Minimum Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement</li>
<li>1 yr minimum experience with data entry or inventory management</li>
<li>Strong technical and analytical background to provide TRAX, Excel, and other reports</li>
<li>Must possess a valid Driver's License and a driving record that meets Breeze Airways standards</li>
<li>Ability to drive company vehicles, trucks, forklifts, and other Ground Service Equipment (GSE)</li>
<li>Pass Materials and the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) training courses</li>
<li>Pass and ship Dangerous Goods (DG) International Air Transport Association (IATA) and ground course and maintain recurrent training for both certifications</li>
<li>Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986</li>
<li>Operate 5K &amp; 15K forklifts to coordinate shipping and handling of aircraft engines and GSE equipment</li>
<li>Pass a ten (10) year background check and criminal history records check (CHRC)</li>
<li>Valid Passport with no restrictions to travel outside of the United States</li>
<li>Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and / or US Customs security badges.</li>
<li>Must be fluent in English</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>

<li>Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>4-year degree in Business, Aerospace, or other relevant field/ or received a certificate from an acceptable trade/technical school.</li>
<li>TRAX (M&amp;E) Inventory system</li>
<li>Warehousing or experience in a stockroom environment</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written</li>
<li>Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate to Leadership</li>
<li>Must be able to handle high-stress situations</li>
<li>Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)</li>
<li>24- hour operation may require holiday, weekend, overtime, or late-night work</li>
<li>Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance</li>
<li>Ability to comply and maintain Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards</li>
<li>Ability to lift, carry, and move medium to heavy weights of 50 pounds or more</li>
<li>Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently in relatively confined spaces</li>

<li>Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization</li>
