Brenntag Saudi Arabia now looks for an hands-on Account Manager for Beauty &amp; Care Department (Personal Care, Cosmetics &amp; Cleaning product lines) who will be an intricate part of the commercial perception, responsible for developing and delivering value-added sales activities to our company&rsquo;s daily practice. 
 
JOB DESCRIPTION &amp; REQUIRED BUSINESS ACUMEN 
 
<ul><li>Developing a growth &amp; margin-oriented strategy focused both on lucrative financial gain and customer satisfaction upon raw material and chemical sales in Cosmetics, Personal Care &amp; Cleaning industries.</li></ul></div><ul><li>Searching new potential customers&amp; decide on price and sales strategies.</li><li>Promoting new raw materials referring to the customer current projects or proactive approach to develop new business / trends market presentations to the customers.</li><li>Research of the current market conditions &amp; following the competitor prices and the competitor&rsquo;s new launches.</li><li>Following the finance status /payment schedule of the customers.</li><li>Finding solutions to customer payment problems.</li><li>Communicate with the suppliers on the technical promotion, new launches and promote to the team and to the customers in his/her portfolio.</li><li>Travel abroad to the supplier training meetings and technical seminars, to the related market global and local fairs and participating to the webinars, teleconferences with the suppliers.</li><li>Communicate with the suppliers on the technical promotion, new launches and promote to the team and to the customers in his/her portfolio.</li><li>Report to the suppliers quarterly with the customer feedback to the project pipelines, report the monthly sales figures and give feedback concerning the competition in the market /potentials.</li></ul><div>
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 
 
<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, preferably from reputable universities.</li><li>3-6 years of trackable experience in raw material chemicals sales in Personal Care, Cosmetics &amp; Cleaning industries, account management, planning and implementing sales strategies.</li><li>Fluency in English and excellent numeric sales skill set.</li><li>Ability to maintain long-lasting relations in customer management with excellent communication and process management skills.</li><li>Strong commercial outlook and sales approach to account management.</li></ul></div><ul><li>Travelling within Saudi Arabia is a must.</li><li>the position is based in Jeddah.</li></ul>

External Account Manager

Account Managers are responsible for managing the overall sales efforts in their assigned territory to maximize sales and profit. They must utilize frequent face-to-face and/or telephone contact in a consultative sales approach to ensure the satisfaction of customer needs. They must identify selling opportunities and assertively act upon the opportunities that offer maximum potential and/or gross profit - both with existing customers through cross- and range-selling as well as with new leads. They must uphold Brenntag's core values and focus on customer excellence in all regards every day.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
Job Description:</h1>
Customer Business Development(70%)<ul><li>
Meet sales objectives and focus on customer retention as well as improving overall customer satisfaction (also through digital channels).</li><li>
Identify customer potentials, i.e., opportunities for cross-and range-selling to existing customers and engage relevant stakeholders (e.g., Brenntag Specialties sales staff).</li><li>
Set strategies and targets for growth of customers in assigned territory (sales plan); align with Sales Manager.</li><li>
Frequently conduct customer visits and prepare the meetings using all available tools and reports, coordinate, negotiate and close proposals.</li><li>
Manage spot business/rush offers, get support from Commercial Assistant when necessary.</li><li>
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to create in a timely manner the best solution for the customer and extract maximum value(e.g.,Sales Management/Product Management for Pricing topics).</li><li>
Act as major point of contact to customers in assigned territory in all commercial matters.</li><li>
Conduct market studies on potential new product opportunities by contacting customers to gather interest and test market demand.</li><li>
Leverage Brenntag Connect to generate and maximize sales.</li></ul>
New Customer Generation(10%)<ul><li>
Spot opportunities for launching sales projects in cooperation with other departments like Product Management.</li><li>
Identify and prioritize prospective customers.</li><li>
Get in contact with prospects and involve relevant stakeholders to nurture leads down the pipeline.</li><li>
Liaise with Brenntag Specialties sales staff on customers with new Brenntag Essentials business opportunities.</li></ul>
Sales &amp; General Admin(15%)<ul><li>
Set and maximize prices considering value-based pricing and customer segmentation within guidelines provided by Product Management.</li><li>
Ensure appropriate data administration and documentation of all business cases in the local CRM system (e.g., post processing of visits, creation of customer projects).</li><li>
Update and maintain customer opportunity pipelines and potentials in the CRM system</li><li>
Complete sales and revenue-related reporting.</li><li>
Drive commercial and functional excellence based on guidance/input from Commercial Excellence Function</li><li>
Provide regular forecasts of product demand from customers to Product Management to optimize projected demand requirements.</li><li>
Maintain an up-to-date level of product knowledge, e.g., via training</li><li>
Keep up to date with changes and updates in the product portfolio and in the market.</li><li>
Keep up to date on feedstock and upstream developments that impact product price movements.</li></ul>

Your Profile</h1>
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Preferably Post-Secondary Education with a focus in Business, Science or equivalent.</li><li>
Experience in the chemical distribution business, preferably in a sales capacity (3 to 5 years previous experience in sales role).</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader">

 Brenntag Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced External Account Manager to join our chemical raw materials sales team in Jeddah.
 
 
 The ideal candidate will have minimum 3-4 years of sales experience in the chemical raw materials industry, preferably in coatings and construction industry of Jeddah and western region, with a strong technical background of Chemical Engineering.
 
 
 The External Account Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers in the paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, and construction chemicals sectors along with related industry segments.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:

 Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly/annual sales growth and revenue targets in the coatings and construction chemicals market.

 Identify and pursue new business opportunities with customers, manufacturers, and end-users.

 Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.

 Qualifications &amp; Experience:

 Minimum 3-4 years of sales experience in chemical raw materials, specifically in paints and coatings, adhesives, with traceable results in construction chemicals industry around Jeddah and western region.

 Strong knowledge of resins, solvents, additives, pigments, and other raw materials used in coatings and construction chemicals industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in the Saudi market preferrable in Jeddah and western region.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills(English &amp; Arabic).
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to travel within Saudi Arabia.
