We are seeking a motivated, organized, and bilingual (English/Vietnamese) Legal Assistant to join our team.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Legal Assistant will work closely with attorneys and staff to support the firm's personal injury practice. Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Assist attorneys with legal drafting, correspondence, and document preparation.</li><li>Support personal injury claim processing from intake through settlement.</li><li>Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel.</li><li>Maintain regular client contact and provide case status updates.</li><li>Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.</li><li>Schedule appointments, depositions, and other case-related deadlines.</li><li>Obtain and organize medical records, bills, and other supporting documents.</li><li>Perform general administrative and office support duties as assigned.</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.</li><li>Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.</li><li>Conduct client interviews in Vietnamese and English to gather case information efficiently and professionally.</li><li>Manage legal case files and document to ensure accurate recordkeeping and easy retrieval of case materials.</li><li>Support litigation activities by reviewing documents, organizing evidence, and assisting with trial preparation.</li><li>Perform data entry, filing, and clerical tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>Coordinate communication between clients, courts, government agencies, and internal teams with professionalism and courtesy.</li><li>Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are advantageous.</li><li>Effective phone etiquette combined with professional interpersonal skills for client interactions.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team; high attention to detail is essential.</li></ul>Pay: From $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Profit sharing</li></ul>Work Location: In person
