Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Assistant Dispatcher/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.This role is intended to begin at 7:30 a.m. and end between 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. which includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch. Some flexibility in start and end times is available. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to start at 7:30 a.m.Duties<ul><li>Greet visitors, present invoices, and collect payments as needed</li><li>Answer phone calls from clients, taking information down on commercial vehicle tows, equipment transportation, and repair orders or direct calls to the appropriate parties or take messages</li><li>Provide accounting support - recording invoices into our accounting software (SAGE50) coding revenue to the correct general ledger (training will be provided)</li><li>Processing mail and marking invoices at paid</li><li>Proof read repair orders, verify part numbers, and confirm pricing on orders (training provided)</li><li>Maintain organized records and files using computerized systems.</li><li>Support administrative tasks such as performing clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, typing correspondence, preparing reports, and managing office supplies.</li><li>Uphold phone etiquette standards while interacting with clients and colleagues.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in dispatching or in a administrative role providing front desk and accounting support is preferred but not required</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and record management.</li><li>Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>A background in customer service or personal assistant roles is advantageous.</li></ul>Join our team as an Assistant Dispatcher/Administrative Assistant where your contributions will be valued, and your skills will be utilized to enhance our operations!Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>What are you targeting for your starting hourly rate? </li><li>If selected, when can you start?</li><li>Are you able to start at 7:30 a.m. ET daily (M-F)?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
