</li></ul></li></ul></div></div><div>Terrific Major Gifts Officer position with a highly regarded national nonprofit based in the Jacksonville, Orlando, Ocala, or surrounding areas. This is a new position that will cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and prospects in a region that includes Northern and Central Florida. There will be a focus on donors with the capacity to give at the $25k+ level. The MGO will also work closely with Executive Team members on donor cultivation and meetings.<br>

<div><b>Responsibilities:
</b></div><ul><li>Provide moves management to a major gifts portfolio of current and prospective donors, securing gifts of $25k+
</li><li>Implement cultivation strategies and develop donor communications to grow a major gifts portfolio
</li><li>Collaborate with the executive team on donor cultivation and meetings
</li><li>Leverage wealth screening software and the Salesforce CRM for fundraising initiatives
</li><li>Effectively communicate the organization's mission to funders
</li><li>Provide projections and reporting for the donor portfolio
</li><li>Travel for organization meetings and meetings with donors and prospects, as needed
</li></ul><div></div><div><b>Qualifications:
</b></div><ul><li>Approximately 3+ years of major gifts fundraising experience; ideally 5 years
</li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred
</li><li>Experience with individual gifts and multi-year commitments
</li><li>Demonstrated track record utilizing moves management strategies to secure at least 5-figure gifts
</li><li>Present a high degree of professionalism
</li><li>Experience collaborating with executive management
</li><li>Ability to connect with donors while conveying the organization's mission and work
</li><li>Collaborative and able to work well within a team
