Our firm is supported by immigration professionals who are devoted to proudly advocating on behalf of our clients and advancing the practice of immigration law.*RESPONSIBILITIES OF IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY*&#9679; Working with and overseeing firm&rsquo;s paralegal team and reviewing applications for United States family/humanitarian-based visas and providing sound assessments of eligibility for visas, adjustments of status and other benefits.&#9679; Work with firm&rsquo;s intake staff and provide in-person and telephonic consultations for new clients.&#9679; Expertise and able to screen clients for adjustment of status, inadmissibility v. removability issues, family-based immigration, VAWA (spousal/parental abuse), waivers, asylum, cancellation of removal and U and T visas.&#9679; Keeping abreast of changes in US immigration law and procedure and implementing changes into practice.&#9679; Reporting to clients on pending matters and monitoring progress of cases to ensure timely visa issuance and admission to the US.&#9679; Resolving issues of eligibility and inadmissibility with consular or immigration officials.&#9679; Attend USCIS interviews, court hearings, and ICE check-ins.**REQUIREMENTS FOR IMMIGRATION ATTORNEYS**- 1-2 years of experience in representing clients before EOIR and USCIS- 1-2 years of experience in legal research and writing, specifically, BIA Briefs, Motion to Reopen/Terminate, and Briefs before the US Court of Appeals* Member of State Bar* Bilingual (Spanish and English).Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
