This position unloads trucks, collects payment and related inventory, maintains records of deliveries and payments, and serves as customer liaison by performing the duties listed below. Valid Class A Commercial Drivers&rsquo; License preferred.Salary: Depends on ExperienceEssential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.<ul><li>Completes daily morning check-out procedures, including DOT log completion when necessary.</li><li>Performs daily visual inspection of vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.</li><li>Organizes route and paperwork for neatness and appropriate time management of work load.</li><li>Drives truck to transport product to customer's location; unloads and disperses product to customers&rsquo; storage areas; properly stores product.</li><li>Rotates product to ensure freshness, and pulling close-dated product.</li><li>Ensures timely and accurate deliveries of product to customers.</li><li>Completes paperwork by obtaining necessary signatures for delivered products and verifies the order to amount delivered.</li><li>Collects payments and makes adjustments for returned product.</li><li>Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.</li><li>Handles product properly to minimize breakage; processes breakage and appropriate write-off documentation when needed.</li><li>Completes check-in procedures, including balancing cash and checks received to invoices; P&amp;E&rsquo;s; and credits.</li><li>Checks in product and properly stores close-dated items.</li><li>Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; establishes and maintains effective customer relations; resolves service complaints.</li><li>Adheres to all appropriate federal, state, and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.</li><li>Carries out the Company Mission Statement in all job activities and customer relations.</li><li>Cleans vehicle; performs routine maintenance on truck; and maintains regular written inspections.</li><li>Operates other equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, wheelers and other small tools in a safe and prudent manner; immediately reports maintenance requirements to supervisor; completes regular written inspections of motorized equipment.</li><li>Builds displays and marks products when necessary.</li><li>Attends and participates in Company meetings and training sessions.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform the job successfully, an individual must demonstrate the following:CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS:<ul><li>Requires a valid Class A Type 2 Commercial Drivers&rsquo; License (CDL)</li><li>Requires a current Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Certificate.</li><li>Requires a current forklift certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.</li><li>Must have clean driving and safety records.</li></ul>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>Position requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The work environment and physical demands described below are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job:<ul><li>Regularly required to reach with hands and arms; stand, walk and sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.</li><li>Must regularly lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.</li><li>Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.</li><li>The ability to adjust focus, and close vision as well as distance, peripheral and depth perception vision are required by this job.</li></ul>WORK ENVIRONMENT:<ul><li>Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts</li><li>Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions.</li><li>Occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places.</li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</li></ul>This position requires drug testing per the DOT requirements.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Trucking Route:<ul><li>Local</li></ul>Work Days:<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>No weekends</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have a clean driving record (nothing more than a minor moving violation)?</li><li>The shift starts at 5 am, are you willing and able to start at this time?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Delivery Driver: 1 year (Required)</li><li> Beverage or Food (CDL) Delivery: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Class A CDL (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Billings, MT 59102 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
