</b></p></div><div><p>Join the Ballard Center for Social Impact as an Administrative Assistant, where you'll play a vital supporting role in our mission to develop the faith and skills to solve social problems through mentored student leadership. This detail-oriented position provides essential administrative and employment support under the direction of the Operations Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance across student employment processes. You'll work primarily with Workday systems to manage student hiring, onboarding, and employment transactions while maintaining organized records and supporting operational efficiency. This half-time, primarily remote position is perfect for someone who values precision, enjoys process-oriented work, and wants to contribute to meaningful social impact initiatives. <b>This is a </b><b>remote, </b><b>half-time, non-exempt position with occasional on-site support as needed.<br>

</b></p></div><p></p><div><ul><li><p>Process student hiring, onboarding, and termination transactions in Workday; post job requisitions and support recruitment logistics
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Track and maintain I-9 verification compliance and submit /monitor Workday help cases for payroll adjustments and corrections
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintain seat assignments, costing allocations, employment records, and run routine and customized Workday reports
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Manage internal administrative and HR-related requests while maintaining organized personnel and compliance documentation
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Support routine payroll reconciliation processes and provide administrative support for adjunct hiring as directed
</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Document and refine administrative workflows, maintain tracking systems, and prepare data summaries and reports

</b></p><p></p><p>The BYU Online High School (BYU OHS) school counselor reports directly to and works closely with the BYU High School Online Learning Education Service Agency (ESA) school counselor (Lead School Counselor). Under the direction of the Lead School Counselor, the BYU OHS school counselor oversees the school&rsquo;s academic advising and counseling, graduation, transcripts and credits, mental health counseling referrals, College and Career Readiness planning, and college application support. The school counselor supervises student progress, and coordinates student academic planning with teachers and Parents. The school counselor works with students and school staff to provide access to and help communicate about additional educational resources and other support available.
</p><p></p><p>Note: This is a part-time position (28) hours per week. This position follows a hybrid work model, with time split between in-office and remote work.
</p><p></p><p><b>What you&rsquo;ll do in this position:
</b></p><p></p><p>Support Students and Families
</p><ul><li>Help students and parents create four-year academic plans (including accommodations when needed)
</li><li>Assist with class selection, tutoring, tech support, and letters of recommendation
</li><li>Monitor student progress and offer support if they&rsquo;re struggling academically or emotionally
</li><li>Work with the school team to support students with academic, attendance, or behavioral challenges
</li><li>Ensure students meet graduation requirements
</li><li>Guide students through college, scholarship, and financial aid applications
</li></ul><p></p><p>Maintain Records and Ensure Compliance
</p><ul><li>Review and process transcripts
</li><li>Audit and manage student records
</li><li>Assist with official documentation under Lead Counselor supervision
</li></ul><p></p><p>Admissions Support
</p><ul><li>Evaluate transfer and international credits (e.g., TEC or IERF) under Lead Counselor supervisor
</li></ul><p></p><p>Team Collaboration &amp; School Planning
</p><ul><li>Help improve school programs and student outcomes
</li><li>Support academic standards, equity, and student success
</li><li>Update newsletters, brochures, and websites with current info
</li><li>Assist in delivering a College &amp; Career Readiness Counseling Program
