They drive clean, professional, late-model collection trucks.As a Bright Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating your truck and collecting waste, while driving through neighborhoods and commercial areas daily. You will have the opportunity to provide reliable, friendly, and consistent service for customers who rely on Bright for essential and timely service. We strive to hire the best people and provide the best customer service in the industry.What you will do:<ul><li>Safely operate a collection truck to collect both residential and commercial waste along a designated route, then transfer it to a disposal site.</li><li>Work closely with the rest of the driver team to improve efficiencies and to service customers on different routes and schedules. Attend team meetings.</li><li>Interact courteously with customers, and communicate customer requests to the office.</li><li>Perform pre and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure the truck is in proper working order. Keep your truck clean inside and out. Address maintenance issues quickly. Notify leadership of any concerns.</li><li>Follow all safety requirements, attend safety meetings, and report any safety issues immediately to leadership.</li><li>Notify the office of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage immediately.</li><li>Clock in when arriving, and clock out when duties are completed.</li></ul>What you need to be successful:<ul><li>Class B or higher Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License with Air Brake Endorsement (Required).</li><li>Legally eligible to work in the United States.</li><li>At least 18 years of age.</li><li>Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.</li><li>Pass CDL physical and drug screen.</li><li>Experience helpful.
