Position Summary:

This Payroll Representative position will be responsible for processing facility payroll, calculating and reporting retirement benefits, submitting state and federal tax deposits, preparing quarterly and annual payroll tax documents, and understanding and complying with ACA and PBJ requirements. This position will report directly to the Payroll Supervisor. 

This role will require commuting to Coralville, Iowa for training (typically 6 months), then transitioning to a permanent onsite office location in Muscatine, Iowa.

Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Process, enter, and balance payroll of the assigned clients without errors.</li>
<li>Comply with ACA and PBJ reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner according to your supervisors&rsquo; specifications.</li>
<li>Process and prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax documents such as 941, state withholding, SUTA, FUTA, and W-2&rsquo;s.</li>
<li>Conduct yourself professionally with clients and other team members at all times. Escalate customer and/or account concerns to your direct supervisor. Ensure the highest level of customer service possible.</li>
<li>Familiarize yourself with and regularly use the BCG Chart of Accounts and the Wellsky payroll codes.</li>
<li>Other projects and/or duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be necessary from time to time. Must be able to sit for long periods of time, use fine motor skills, have the ability to view a computer monitor, and type (up to 8 hours a day). Additionally, there may be exposure to moderate noise levels due to the office functions (i.e. talking, printing, copying, etc.) 
FLSA Status:

Non-exempt/Hourly: This position is paid an hourly rate and therefore is eligible for 1.5 times the normal wage for every hour over 40 worked in a given work week. Overtime must be preapproved by your supervisor. 
Employment Status:

Full time: This position at BCG requires at least 40 hours a week. Occasionally, time over 40 hours may be necessary to meet the requirements of the position. Full-time employees are eligible for employee benefits. 
Supervision Requirements:

This position supervises: None.

This position reports to: Payroll Supervisor but could change to report to a different Expense Cycle Supervisor or the Expense Cycle Manager depending on business need.</div>

Position Summary:

This General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for preparation of monthly financial reporting, communicating with clients, team members, and other BCG employees. They will also prepare year-end reports for CPA firms and provide supporting documentation for CPA requests. This position will report directly to the General Ledger Supervisor.

Administrative Exemption: Administrative exemption is categorized with their primary duties involving office or non-manual work directly related to managing the office or office workflow and processes, as well as regularly utilizing independent discretion in their decision-making.
