<b>What You'll Do:</b><br>
As a <b>Medication Technician</b>, you&rsquo;ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents. You won&rsquo;t just be administering medications, you&rsquo;ll be a trusted caregiver, a health advocate, and a comforting presence in their daily lives.</div><div>
In this rewarding role, you'll ensure medications and treatments are delivered with accuracy and care, support daily health monitoring, and provide compassionate, hands-on assistance that helps our residents thrive. Key Responsibilities</b></h3><br>
<ul>
<li>
Passes medications and gives treatments.</li>
<li>Obtains and records resident vital signs, weight, food, and fluid intake and output.</li>
<li>Assist with medication refills, ordering, and inventory management to ensure an adequate supply of medications is available.</li>
<li>Assists new residents and families in the orientation process.</li>
<li>Assist with daily health monitoring, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing personal care as needed.</li>
<li>Assists all residents with activities of daily living, as needed.</li>
<li>Assists residents in preparing for activities, social programs, and transporting.</li>
<li>Interacts with residents in friendly manner while structuring their day and monitoring their needs.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate documentation in resident&rsquo;s charts and in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR).</li>
<li>Assists with meal service.</li>

Skills, Knowledge &amp; Expertise</b></h3><br>
<ul>
<li>
Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>
<li>1 year of medication passing experience in a healthcare setting.</li>
<li>Previous experience as a caregiver in a healthcare setting, preferably with seniors or in long-term care.</li>
<li>Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.</li>
<li>Previous working knowledge of Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) systems, preferred.</li></ul><br>
