If you enjoy a creative, collaborative team environment and love bringing elevated design to life through both vision and execution, we&rsquo;d love to connect.This is a full-time in-person position at our studio in Scottsdale, AZ.REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>5+ years professional residential interior design experience (construction &amp; build finish design &amp; full furnishing experience)</li><li>Proven ability to lead projects from kickoff through installation and closeout</li><li>Strong client leadership: confident presenting, guiding decisions, managing expectations</li><li>Experience mentoring/training junior designers and supporting team standards</li><li>Comfortable collaborating with architects, builders, and trades on active job sites</li></ul>Design + Technical Expertise:<ul><li>Strong space planning and layout skills</li><li>Deep understanding of construction and renovation workflows, detailing, and field conditions</li><li>Ability to develop design concepts into complete, cohesive, buildable design plans</li><li>High taste level with strong eye for scale, proportion, color, and layered finishes</li><li>Strong knowledge of materials, furnishings, textiles, lighting, plumbing fixtures, appliances and hardware</li></ul>Software + Tools:<ul><li>SketchUp and Layout proficiency</li><li>CAD proficiency</li><li>Strong capability with Adobe (InDesign/Photoshop) and/or Canva for presentations</li><li>Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (docs, sheets, outlook)</li></ul>Documentation + Deliverables:<ul><li>Ability to produce clear, professional design documentation (plans, elevations, specifications, schedules)</li><li>Strong spec-writing and product selection documentation (organized, accurate, complete)</li><li>Understanding of order-of-operations, lead times, and install readiness requirements</li><li>Detail-driven: measurements, clearances, finish alignment, and coordination across trades</li></ul>Procurement + Vendor Management:<ul><li>Vendor sourcing fluency and trade/vendor relationship management</li><li>Experience with purchasing workflows: quotes, POs, tracking, and resolving order issues</li><li>Ability to work within budgets and communicate cost impacts proactively</li><li>Strong problem-solving around availability, substitutions, and value engineering (without sacrificing design integrity)</li></ul>Core Professional Skills:<ul><li>Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time management across multiple projects</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication (client-ready and trade-ready)</li><li>Reliable follow-through and ownership mindset</li><li>Calm under pressure; solution-oriented and adaptable</li><li>High integrity with confidentiality and professionalism in client homes and on site</li></ul>BRITANYSIMON.COMJob Type: Full-time Senior Residential Interior DesignerWork Location: In Person at StudioPay: Pay based on experienceSchedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm**HOW TO APPLY:**Please submit your resume and portfolio to britany@britanysimon.
