Purchasing CoordinatorBrizo Construction is a growing and dynamic construction company based in Houston, TX.General Office Duties / Work Environment&middot; Ability to multitask and coordinate numerous responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.&middot; Receive and manage Purchase Order requests through email, text, and/or phone.&middot; Process and complete Purchase Order requests on time.&middot; Maintain vendor records and pricing within the estimating system&middot; Prepare material take-offs for upcoming projects.&middot; Work with field staff to ensure an efficient and budget-oriented completion of each project&middot; Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliersSubcontractor Management&middot;Assist in ensuring that subcontractors' trade agreement, liability insurance, workman&rsquo;s compensation waiver, W-9, and WBE, MBE, Section 3 and SBE certifications are received and up to date in the cloud-based job management system.&middot;Review new subcontractor trade agreements for accuracy and completeness and upload to cloud-based job management software.Position Specific Competencies/Skills Required:&middot; Experienced in office administration&middot; Excellent organization and customer service skills&middot; Strong analysis and critical thinking skills&middot; Deadline and detail-oriented&middot; Proven ability to multitask, managing multiple projects&middot; Strong verbal and written communication skills&middot; Microsoft Office proficiency &ndash; Excel and Word&middot; Knowledge of residential construction and remodeling&middot; Experience working within Buildertrend is required, experience working within Stack preferedExperience/Education Required/Desired:&middot; High School diploma is required.
