<div>The Finance Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Treasury functions, including the management of eight to ten professional and administrative staff. This role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of cash management, credit card programs, vendor disbursements, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, supporting the Accounting Manager in month-end close, internal controls, audit preparation, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP) Management
<ul><li>Oversight: Supervise the full-cycle Accounts Payable team and process, including invoice processing, verification, coding, and expense report processing. Total team consists of professional and administrative staff.</li>
<li>Disbursement &amp; Control: Manage, review and authorize vendor payments, ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and optimization of payment terms.</li>
<li>Management of Credit Card Programs: Manage use of credit card programs ensuring optimization of such programs and maintenance of appropriate credit limits.</li>
<li>Compliance: Oversee 1099 preparation, remittance, and compliance with IRS regulations.</li>
<li>Process Improvement: Streamline AP workflows and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency.</li></ul> 

Treasury &amp; Cash Management
<ul><li>Oversight: Provide oversight and management of the treasury functions including daily processing and monitoring of balances. Includes management of two professional staff.</li>
<li>Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash balances and prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts for senior management.</li>
<li>Manage IOLTA Trust Accounts: Ensure compliance with state bar rules, timely and accurate reconciliation and maintenance of trust accounts.</li>
<li>Reconciliations: Perform and review complex bank reconciliations, including ACH, wire transfers, and inter-company transactions.</li>
<li>Personnel Management: Manage the cash application and daily treasury team.</li>
<li>Banking Relations: Maintain relationships with bank representatives, manage bank account signatories, and oversee online banking portals.</li>
<li>Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls over cash disbursements and treasury activities.</li>
<li>Debt/Investment: Assist with tracking debt compliance and managing investment accounts.</li>
<li>Escheat: Oversee the process of managing unclaimed funds and properly escheat to the local Bar or State.</li></ul> 

General Accounting &amp; Tax Support
<ul><li>Month-End Close: Support month end close process with emphasis on expense review.</li>
<li>General Accounting: Maintain general accounting records for additional companies in QuickBooks; provide support to external tax accountant.</li>
<li>Licenses: Maintain active business and collections licenses annually and as needed.</li>
<li>Audit and Tax Support: Act as a key contact for external auditors and tax accountant, preparing &quot;prepared by client&quot; (PBC) schedules and answering inquiries.</li></ul></div>
