<b>EXPERIENCE:</b> Previous work experience in the food service field desirable, but not essential.<br>
<br>
<b>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:</b><br>
To assist in the preparation and serving of food, or in the cleaning of kitchen equipment as directed.<br>
<br>
<b>KEY FUNCTIONS:</b></div><ul><li>
Assists in the preparation of food items.</li><li>
Sets up serving lines with condiments, hot and cold foods, and table services.</li><li>
Assist in food handling, including proper storage of food.</li><li>
Serves as cashier and/or server on food service line.</li><li>
Assists in the washing and sanitizing of pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.</li></ul><div><br>
<br>
<b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent desired.</li><li>
Hold a valid Servsafe Certificate or willing to complete the training.</li><li>
The ability to lift a minimum of 35 to 50 pounds.</li><li>
Hold a valid Servsafe Certificate or willing to complete the training.</li><li>
The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li><li>
The ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues.</li><li>
The ability to carry out oral and written instructions.</li><li>
Displays a positive attitude and builds healthy relationships with students, staff and families.</li></ul><div><b><br>
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Food Services or such persons as designated by the Director.</b><br>
