Substitute Teacher We are seeking reliable, flexible, and compassionate Substitute Teachers to join our on-call team. This is a per diem (day-by-day) position, meaning you will be scheduled on an as-needed basis to cover teacher absences across various classrooms and grade levels.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher</li><li>Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, respectful environment for students</li><li>Provide instructional support and maintain classroom routines</li><li>Communicate with campus staff if any issues arise during the school day</li><li>Supervise students during transitions or other non-instructional times</li><li>Support a wide range of learners, including students with special needs or behavioral supports</li><li>Adapt to different classroom settings, grade levels, and subject areas as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>No teaching certification or degree is required, though prior experience with children is preferred</li><li>Ability to follow directions, stay calm under pressure, and maintain professional conduct</li><li>Strong classroom management and communication skills</li><li>Must pass a criminal background check and meet district hiring requirements</li></ul>Preferred Traits:<ul><li>Experience working with children in school, daycare, camp, or tutoring environments</li><li>Flexibility and comfort working across various campuses or grade levels</li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to step in and support students of all abilities</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Daily pay rate for each day worked</li><li>Flexible scheduling, you choose when you're available</li><li>Opportunity to gain experience in education without needing a certification</li><li>Supportive administrative and teaching teams</li></ul>Apply now to help support our students and staff by serving as a vital part of our educational community.
