We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team at Browning Chapman, LLC. Browning Chapman, a rapidly growing specialty contractor with operations in Cincinnati and Tri-state area, is looking for experienced brick masons to work in commercial, industrial and institutional environments with our masonry crews This position is responsible for building and repairing walls, and other structures with brick, terra cotta, precast masonry panels, concrete block and other masonry materials. Located in the United States, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to many exciting construction projects.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Perform masonry work including bricklaying, stonework, and blockwork.</li><li>Ensure the quality and durability of all masonry installations.</li><li>Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.</li><li>Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.</li><li>Estimates the materials needed for each job</li><li>Corrects any safety hazards and reports them to foreman</li><li>Reads and follows technical drawings</li><li>Trains apprentices as needed to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner</li><li>Mixes cement and mortar on the job site as needed</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned by management</li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Proven experience in masonry or related construction fields</li><li>Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials</li><li>Must have a valid driver's license</li><li>Must have reliable transportation</li><li>Must be able to pass a standard drug screen</li></ul>Company Requirements:<ul><li>Familiarity with safety protocols in construction environments, commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required PPE</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong attendance record and ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Own reliable transportation</li><li>Willing to travel</li><li>Working at heights</li><li>Ability to work in outdoor environments and tolerate hot and cold weather conditions</li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods of time</li></ul>If you are passionate about masonry and ready to build your future with us, we invite you to apply today at Browning Chapman!
