Position Overview:</div></div><div><div>
Mercury Marine is looking for a Associate Copywriter to join our Creative Services team. You&rsquo;ll create conceptual creative and execute tactical marketing copy that brings our brands&rsquo; stories to life, resonates with boaters and anglers, and stands out in the marine marketplace. You&rsquo;ll collaborate with a talented crew of designers, copywriters, project managers, brand partners and channel partners to encourage consumers to get on the water with Mercury Marine.</div></div><div></div><div><div>

Essential Functions:</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Critically think through project briefs and customer journey to create engaging and appropriate messaging that fulfills our brands&rsquo; objectives</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate on developing campaign concepts that stand out to consumers and fulfill our brands&rsquo; objectives and tell their stories</div></li><li><div>
Develop on-brand, on-voice copy that engages boating, fishing, and water sports enthusiasts across digital and print channels (print ads, digital ads, web copy, catalogs, brochures, point-of-purchase displays, tradeshow displays and more)</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with designers to build creative, cohesive campaigns</div></li><li><div>
Review creative proofs for spelling, grammar, and overall quality according to our in-house style guides</div></li><li><div>
Build your knowledge of our audiences (boaters, anglers, watersports enthusiasts), their interests, and the marine industry to develop targeted creative that resonates with these audiences</div></li></ul></div><div><div>
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.</div></div><div><div>
Required Qualifications:</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
1+ years of experience in an advertising/marketing agency or in-house marketing department</div></li><li><div>
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but may be waived for candidates with relevant experience and exceptional portfolio</div></li><li><div>
Experience in collaboratively developing creative campaign concepts</div></li><li><div>
Experience producing copy across marketing channels</div></li><li><div>
Demonstrated ability to adhere consistently to a brand&rsquo;s voice and move fluidly between multiple brand voices</div></li><li><div>
Strong time management to meet tight deadlines while working on simultaneous projects</div></li><li><div>
Experience editing and proofreading according to multiple style guides with acute attention to detail</div></li><li><div>
Basic understanding of SEO keyword usage</div></li><li><div>
Portfolio that demonstrates creative marketing copy across channels for multiple clients</div></li></ul></div></div><div></div><div><div><div><br>

The anticipated pay range for this position is $62,800-90,500<i>,</i><i> </i>annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for annual discretionary bonus.</div></div><div></div><div><div>
Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate&rsquo;s qualifications and the business context.
