The Service Technician is the backbone of the service team, responsible for the maintenance and repair of buses in the most efficient, economical, and safe manner possible.The successful candidate will:<ul><li>Perform preventive maintenance and replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, braking, and lighting systems as needed.</li><li>Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.</li><li>Test drive vehicles to gauge performance and verify repairs.</li><li>Perform and document all preventative maintenance and other work on vehicles.</li><li>Ensure all equipment, tools, and work areas are in good working order and are free of safety hazards.</li></ul>One year of directly related experience, ASE certification, and/or a CDL are preferred.
