<div><div>We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and proactive <b>IT Systems Administrator and Education Technology Technician</b> to oversee and support the school&rsquo;s day-to-day technology operations. The role will be responsible for managing the school&rsquo;s <b>Google Workspace for Education platform</b>, acting as the <b>system administrator</b> for related services, and providing technical support across all major school technology systems and devices.<br>

This position will also support the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing management of the school&rsquo;s <b>student information system (SIS)</b>, staff and student devices, smart boards, laptops, desktop computers, printers, internet and network access, and other educational technology tools used across the school.<br>
</div><div>
The successful candidate should be able to provide both <b>hands-on technical support</b> and <b>systems administration</b>, while helping ensure that the school&rsquo;s technology environment runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently.<br>
</div><div><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b><br>
<b>Google Workspace for Education Administration:</b></div><ul><li>
Serve as the main administrator for the school&rsquo;s <b>Google Workspace for Education</b> environment.</li><li>
Manage user accounts for staff and students, including setup, suspension, password resets, group management, and permissions.</li><li>
Administer Google Classroom, Google Meet, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, shared drives, and related services.</li><li>
Set up and manage organizational units, user policies, security settings, and access controls.</li><li>
Support the rollout and management of <b>Education Plus</b> features and other Google education tools.</li><li>
Monitor system usage, storage, security, and compliance.</li><li>
Troubleshoot issues related to login, email, Google Classroom, Meet, Drive access, and device syncing.</li><li>
Support teachers and leadership in making effective use of the Google education platform.</li></ul><div><b>
School Technology and Device Support:</b></div><ul><li>
Provide technical support for all school IT equipment and systems.</li><li>
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot:<ul><li>
Smart boards</li><li>
Laptops</li><li>
Desktop computers</li><li>
Printers and scanners</li><li>
Projectors</li><li>
Classroom display systems</li><li>

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment.</li><li>
Coordinate repair and replacement of damaged or faulty equipment.</li></ul><div><b>
Student Information System (SIS) Management:</b></div><ul><li>
Support the implementation, setup, and daily operation of the school&rsquo;s <b>Student Information System.</b></li><li>
Manage student, staff, timetable, attendance, grading, and reporting related system functions as required.</li><li>
Assist with user training and support for the SIS platform.</li><li>
Help ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and timely updates.</li><li>
Liaise with SIS providers or vendors where needed for support and troubleshooting.</li></ul><div><b>
Network and Infrastructure Support:</b></div><ul><li>
Assist with the monitoring and basic maintenance of the school&rsquo;s network, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi access, and shared systems.</li><li>
Work with external IT vendors, internet service providers, or contractors when needed.</li><li>
Help ensure stable connectivity across classrooms, offices, and shared learning spaces.</li><li>
Maintain asset records and documentation for hardware, software, licenses, and warranties.</li></ul><div><b>
Technical Support and User Assistance:</b></div><ul><li>
Provide day-to-day helpdesk support to staff, leadership, and authorized users.</li><li>
Respond promptly to technical issues and minimize downtime.</li><li>
Train staff on the use of school systems and digital tools where needed.</li><li>
Support teachers in the use of classroom technology and hybrid learning systems.</li><li>
Assist with school events, presentations, online meetings, and other technology-related operational needs.</li></ul><div><b>
Security, Data Protection, and Compliance:</b></div><ul><li>
Help maintain the security of school systems, user accounts, and devices.</li><li>
Apply security settings, software updates, patches, antivirus, and access controls.</li><li>
Monitor for technical risks, unauthorized access, and system misuse.</li><li>
Support backup processes and data protection procedures.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality of school, staff, and student information at all times.</li></ul><div><b>
Strategic and Operational Support:</b></div><ul><li>
Support the school in planning and improving its technology systems and digital learning environment.</li><li>
Recommend practical solutions for improving efficiency, performance, and reliability.</li><li>
Assist in the rollout of new school technology systems and upgrades.</li><li>
Contribute to the development of procedures, user guides, and IT policies where required.</li></ul><div><b>
Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in <b>Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration</b>, or a related field.</li><li>
Relevant certifications in Google Workspace administration, networking, hardware support, or Microsoft/IT systems are an advantage.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of <b>Google Workspace for Education administration.</b></li><li>
Experience supporting <b>school technology systems</b>, education platforms, or similar environments preferred.</li><li>
Experience with <b>SIS platforms</b>, educational software, or school administration systems is highly desirable.</li><li>
Good understanding of IT hardware, software, networking, account administration, and troubleshooting.</li><li>
Experience with smart classroom technologies is an advantage.</li></ul><div><b>
Experience:</b></div><ul><li>
Minimum <b>3&ndash;5 years of relevant IT support and systems administration experience.</b></li><li>
Previous experience in a <b>school, training center, or educational institution</b> is strongly preferred.</li><li>
