 About The Role
 
 
 
 We are looking for an experienced and people-focused
 
 HR Generalist
 
 to join BSI&rsquo;s People team.
 
 
 In this role, you will provide end-to-end HR support across one or multiple countries, acting as a key contact for employees and managers across a broad range of HR matters. You will support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations support, benefits administration, and HR operations.
 
 
 Working within a global matrix organisation, you will play an important role in ensuring employees receive a consistent, high-quality experience while balancing local employment requirements with global processes and policies.This role also provides day-to-day guidance and support to local HR Administrators, helping ensure effective delivery of HR services across the region.

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Act as a key HR contact for employees and managers across assigned countries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, contractual changes, benefits administration, leave management, payroll coordination, and offboarding.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate employee records and country-specific HR documentation within HR systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide first-line guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle matters.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support managers with routine people processes and best practice guidance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate payroll inputs and support monthly payroll activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support employee relations activity, triaging and escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain awareness of local employment legislation and support compliance with local labour laws and internal policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support implementation of regional and global HR initiatives, including leadership development, systems changes, and performance processes.
 </li>

 Build strong relationships across the People team and wider business to ensure a seamless employee experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support HR projects and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and ways of working.
 </li>

 Provide guidance and day-to-day support to local HR Administrators where applicable.

 5+ years of HR experience within a generalist or operational HR role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and people processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working within a global or matrixed organisation.
 </li>

 Experience using HR/HCM systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

 <li>
 High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to apply sound judgement.

 BSI offers a competitive total reward package, an independent and varied job in an international environment, flexible working hours, and ongoing training and development.
 
 
 The salary range for this role is between 181,500-242,000 AED / 205,800-294,000 QAR. The advertised salary range reflects the level, scope and responsibilities of the role. Starting salary within that range will be determined based on experience, skills, market considerations and alignment with internal equity principles.

Location: Home‑based in Istanbul or Bursa area preferred with frequent travel to client sites across Turkey

About the role
BSI Aerospace team supports over 1700 clients globally. You know what excellence looks like in your sector (be it aerospace, space or defence), and you want to see it across your industry. As a BSI Auditor, you'll be part of enabling that. You&rsquo;ll work with our clients to get to know their business whilst you audit their organisation or products against the relevant national and international management standards. Your audit will allow them to continually reassess and improve their business performance. It's a busy, but extremely rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Assess client systems and processes against BSI, ISO, and AS/EN requirements, ensuring audits deliver real value.</li><li>
Prepare accurate, detailed assessment reports and clearly communicate findings and recommended corrective actions.</li><li>
Recommend certification decisions (issue, re‑issue, suspension, withdrawal) in line with BSI policies and timelines.</li><li>
Plan, conduct, and deliver audits professionally, maintaining BSI&rsquo;s high standards across all interactions.</li><li>
Provide meaningful client feedback, demonstrating strong commercial and operational understanding.</li><li>
Maintain a consistent, professional, and engaging approach throughout all assessments.</li><li>
Lead assessment teams when required, ensuring effective planning and collaboration.</li><li>
Build strong relationships that support long‑term client satisfaction and business development.</li><li>
Provide timely information to internal teams and maintain accurate client records.</li></ul>
About you
Essential requirements:<ul><li>
Minimum 4 years of aerospace, space, or defence industry experience within the last 10 years.</li><li>
Proven management system auditing experience.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS/EN 9100.</li><li>
Fluent in English and Turkish.</li><li>
Willingness to travel frequently across the UK, including overnight stays.</li><li>
Strong integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.</li></ul>
Desirable requirements:<ul><li>
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification.</li><li>
AS/EN 9100 (AEA) Lead Auditor qualification or AATT course completion.</li><li>
Additional certifications such as AS/EN 9110 or AS/EN 9120.</li><li>
AEA authentication in the OASIS database.</li><li>
Additional European languages (e.g., German, French, Italian, Polish, Dutch).</li></ul>
