Summary: Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks related to the maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing of computer systems, hardware and peripheral devices which requires the exercise of independent judgment. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Answers client&rsquo;s inquiries and gives technical assistance and training to system users.

Essential Functions:

<ul><li>Serves as the first point of contact for IT support.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Sets up and maintains helpdesk incident tracking and computer maintenance database. Uses the database to build and maintain a knowledgebase for frequently asked questions.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs the scheduled maintenance on all personal computers and related network equipment, ensures all are cleaned and inspected on a regular basis consistent with each particular application.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Installs new computers, adds necessary memory, peripheral devices and network cards, and configures to optimize performance. Installs appropriate user programs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs other special projects related to the company computer system such as documentation related to users reviews, phone directories and pc/asset lists.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists the System Administrator with various computer system projects to include the installation of new programs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Keeps abreast of current developments in the computer industry through industry related periodicals and seminars.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provides daily support on all computer hardware and software.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Document and monitor internal key controls for compliance with applicable processes, laws and regulations.</li></ul>

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Graduation from high school plus two years of technical/college level course work in computer science or related field. A+ Certification preferred but not required. Zero to one year of experience in the field or in a related area.

Experience and Skills Required:

<ul><li>Strong knowledge of personal computer networks.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to set-up Windows workstations to run both network and stand-alone software.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and have good public relations skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.</li></ul>

Compensation Salary Range: OTC5: $23.31 - $32.62 per hour. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future &amp; continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(K) match, etc.
