Part-Time Security &amp; Safety Officer (28/hrs. per week)
Schedule: 2nd Shift - 4:00pm - 11:00pm
Days: Monday through Thursday
Bucks County Community College is seeking a Part-Time Security and Safety Officer to provide assistance, protection, and safety of students and staff while protecting property against threats such as fire, theft, and vandalism. The officer renders emergency medical assistance as needed, and patrols buildings, grounds and parking lots for hazards, problems, etc. This position enforces college regulations pertaining to motor vehicles and student codes of conduct. This position monitors and regulates traffic flow into parking lots and checks for violations. Responsibilities also include locking and unlocking buildings and campus gates, investigating campus incidents and files reports, and assisting police, fire and EMS personnel with responses pertaining to campus events, activities, and/or emergencies.
PRIMARY DUTIES<ul><li>
Patrols buildings and grounds of the College, on foot and in vehicles using electronic check-in stations as required. Enforces rules and regulations of the College, and the Student Code of Conduct of the College.</li><li>
Assists in ensuring the safety and protection of students, employees, and visitors on College property and renders assistance and transportation, as needed.</li><li>
Enforces College regulations pertaining to security, safety, and proper use of College property, and is alert for hazards on the premises which would endanger the safety of persons on campus. Reports all irregularities, (ex: fire hazards, leaks, etc.) to the Office of Security and Safety.</li><li>
Locks and unlock doors as necessary, examine windows, lights, and gates to ensure that they are secure. Files reports where corrective action is required.</li><li>
Patrols all parking lots and College roadways, and issues violation notices and warnings for illegally parked vehicles. Enforces safe driving on campus and assists motorists with disabled vehicles, as necessary.</li><li>
Investigates accidents, files reports on all types of incidents on College property and notifies the police and fire departments when the situation warrants. Provides assistance to emergency vehicles coming on campus.</li><li>
Regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic on College property to maintain an orderly flow. Issues parking permits when required for students, employees, and visitors.</li><li>
Inspects equipment and machinery for hazards, conducts Boiler Room checks as required by Office of Security and Safety and Physical Plant. In the course of patrol conducts inspection of all fire alarms and extinguishers to see that they are in working order. Inspect all battery operated emergency lights to ensure they are working properly.</li><li>
Assist students, employees, and visitors by giving information and directions.</li></ul>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of work experience in security or law enforcement.</li><li>
Valid operator's license.</li><li>
Clear motor vehicle record.</li><li>
Ability to perform continuous interior and exterior foot patrols on rotating shifts, under all weather conditions.</li><li>
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and work with diverse groups of people.</li><li>
Willing and able to work all shifts and campuses under all weather conditions.</li><li>
Capable of extensive walking and/or standing throughout an eight (8) hour shift.</li><li>
Capable of navigating up and down stairs carrying 50 lbs. of equipment.</li><li>
Capable of continuous stair navigation throughout an eight (8) hour shift.</li><li>
Must successfully complete new officer training program conducted by the Office of Security and Safety.</li><li>
Must be certified or become certified in First Responder, Emergency Responder or equivalent, and keep the certification current (College will provide training).</li><li>
Must be certified or become certified in CPR/AED and keep the certification current (College will provide training).</li><li>
Capable of dragging 150 lbs. a distance of 50 feet.</li></ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION<ul><li>
EMT certification strongly preferred.</li></ul>
HOURLY RATE
Base Starting Salary: $19.9158/hr. + an additional $.80/hr. shift differential. Additional $1.50/hr. included for applicants with EMT certification. Advanced degrees, First Responder and Emergency Responder Certifications also qualify for hourly bonus.

Bucks County Community College seeks a collaborative, student-centered professional to lead and advance the Academic Coaching program within the Academic Success Center. This role supports the College&rsquo;s commitment to access, equity, and student success by providing coordinated, high-impact coaching services that promote persistence, progression, and academic skill development. The Coordinator works in close partnership with faculty, advising, tutoring, and student support services to ensure a proactive, integrated approach to supporting students&mdash;particularly those on academic alert, warning, or probation.
The Coordinator provides program leadership, staff supervision, and direct student support, ensuring that coaching services are consistent, evidence-based, and aligned with institutional priorities related to retention and academic excellence. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Student Academic Success.
Essential Functions
Program Leadership and Management<ul><li>
Collaborate with the Director and Executive Director to design, implement, integrate, and assess a comprehensive academic coaching program aligned with institutional student success goals.</li><li>
Develop and maintain standardized coaching frameworks, session models, documentation processes, and ethical practice standards to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.</li><li>
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through utilization, retention, and student success data, and recommend continuous improvements.</li></ul>
Staff Supervision and Development<ul><li>
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate part-time peer and professional academic coaches.</li><li>
Provide ongoing professional development, facilitate staff meetings, and support coaching staff through case consultation and performance feedback.</li><li>
Ensure consistent application of coaching standards, ethical guidelines, and student privacy practices.</li></ul>
Student Support and Academic Coaching<ul><li>
Provide direct academic coaching to students as needed, supporting goal setting, time management, metacognitive strategies, study skills, and academic planning.</li><li>
Monitor student progress and adjust coaching strategies to support persistence and academic success.</li><li>
Collaborate with faculty, advisors, intervention teams, and student support services to coordinate holistic student interventions.</li></ul>
Collaboration and Institutional Engagement<ul><li>
Partner with instructional departments to align coaching initiatives with course outcomes and developmental education goals.</li><li>
Coordinate with tutoring, peer mentoring, and retention programs to streamline referral and follow-up processes.</li><li>
Participate in campus committees and student success initiatives as assigned.</li><li>
Facilitate Summer Bridge and other transition or onboarding programs.</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Education, Counseling, Student Affairs, or a related field; Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li>
Minimum of 2&ndash;3 years of experience in academic coaching, tutoring, advising, or student success services, including experience supporting developmental education, first-generation students, or academic alert/retention initiatives.</li><li>
Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading student staff or part-time employees.</li><li>
Demonstrated understanding of academic coaching models, student development theory, and case management practices.</li><li>
Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Familiarity with student success technologies, data tracking, and case management systems.</li></ul>
Salary Range $50,618 - $64,630 (commensurate with experience)

The Director, Social Media &amp; Digital Marketing is a creative and strategic thinker who advances the institutional mission and supports the strategic goals of the MARCOM unit. Reporting to the Vice President for Marketing &amp; Communications, this position plays a key role in promoting the BCCC story to multiple audiences to drive enrollment growth, strengthen engagement, and enhance the student experience. The Director of Social Media &amp; Digital Marketing manages the College&rsquo;s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) overseeing all aspects including strategy, content creation, scheduling, analytics, and performance reporting. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively within the marketing team and across all departments. The Director, Social Media &amp; Digital Marketing supervises the Continuing Education Divisional Marketing Coordinator and hires and supervises student social media and photography interns. The Director is responsible for video, photo, and written content on the Colleges&rsquo; social media platforms, as well as digital marketing campaigns including targeted display, geofence display, streaming audio/TV, video pre-roll, SEM, and social media ads.
The Director collaborates with staff and faculty across the College, as well as vendors and consultants; ensures that the digital plan integrates with off-line and is coordinated, consistent and meets College goals and maintains visual/brand identity; The Director has a co-supervisory role for the Visual Media &amp; Web Content Specialist, and is responsible for hiring freelance photographers on occasion.
Primary Functions<ul><li>
Manage College&rsquo;s main social media pages including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Create and schedule content for the pages, and act as a community manager to ensure that comments and messages are responded to in a timely manner. Provide guidance for staff managing social media sub-pages for College-specific programs and departments.</li><li>
Develop digital advertising campaigns that respond to business and market needs. Research trends in GEM and SEM, and recommend new approaches. Develop creative digital marketing campaigns using state-of-the-art tools such as Generative Engine Marketing, SEM, geofencing, retargeting, and social media.</li><li>
Routinely meet and work closely with colleagues throughout the college who manage departmental social media accounts to share best practices, and content/assets.</li><li>
Supervise direct reports including student interns and serve as liaison to vendors/project consultants.</li><li>
Create and source content for weekly internal college e-newsletter and other internal emails as needed.</li></ul>
Minimum Requirements<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in marketing, social media, communications, or related fields.</li><li>
4-6 years of job related experience (marketing, social media, planning and developing campaigns, etc.).</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in managing social media platforms for an organization.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in digital marketing tactics and techniques.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience developing written content, taking, and editing photos and video for social media via CapCut, Adobe, Canva, etc.</li><li>
Solid understanding of branding, integrated marketing communications, public relations, social media, and digital marketing.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, including writing for internal mass emails and a wide array of social media platforms, and verbal communication.</li><li>
Excellent proofing and editing skills; familiarity with AP Style a plus.</li><li>
Working knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility best practices for social media content (e.g., alt text, captions, color contrast).</li><li>
Metrics-driven with the ability to present to College leadership including the President&rsquo;s Cabinet, and Board of Trustees.</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects and tasks in a deadline-driven environment using a project management system.</li><li>
Ability to work independently as well as collaborative in a team structure.</li><li>
Ability to take initiative yet keep others informed and see projects through to completion.</li><li>
