We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Business Development Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, responsible for spearheading business expansion across the South India region. In this role, you will focus on generating leads, acquiring new clients, and developing business opportunities through management and expansion of the product and productivity service portfolio, customer base across new industries and geographies within the state.The ideal candidate will have strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in technical, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation and Prospecting<ul><li>Proactively generate leads and identify potential large customers through networking, social media, internet, references, and other channels.</li><li>Research potential clients' business functions and buying capacities, and gather insights on buying trends, purchase quantities, product varieties, and quality standards.</li></ul>Stakeholder Engagement<ul><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers such as purchase managers, production heads, and GMs.</li><li>Engage in discussions to understand the priorities, needs, and requirements of different stakeholders, using research, feedback analysis, and behavioral insights.</li></ul>Business Development &amp; Market Expansion<ul><li>Drive new business opportunities and establish Bufab's presence across South India, focusing on industrial regions in and around Chennai Industrial areas.</li><li>Conduct in-depth market research to uncover trends, competitor activity, and emerging sectors.</li></ul>Sales and Contract Negotiations<ul><li>Generate new Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for C-parts from both new and existing customers.</li><li>Negotiate pricing and contract terms that align with company objectives.</li><li>Ensure customer quality standards match Bufab's capabilities.</li></ul>Promotion of Digital Tools and Logistics Solutions<ul><li>Advocate Bufab&rsquo;s digital tools and logistics offerings to optimize client operations and satisfaction.</li></ul>Market Development and Trend Analysis<ul><li>Monitor market developments and adapt strategies to capitalize on new opportunities in the region.</li></ul>Internal Collaboration and Reporting<ul><li>Coordinate with sourcing, logistics, and other departments for seamless execution.</li><li>Maintain accurate sales data and regularly present forecasts and progress reports.</li><li>Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management, providing insights and updates on sales activities.</li></ul>Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Address challenges and bottlenecks in the process of acquiring new accounts, finding effective solutions through collaboration.</li><li>Promote sustainability by advocating for Bufab&rsquo;s sustainable value to clients, aligning with the company&rsquo;s environmental goals.</li></ul>Customer Relationship Management<ul><li>Track and analyze client behavior, product needs, and service quality expectations.</li><li>Ensure long-term relationships through consistent engagement and value-driven solutions.</li></ul>Education:BE -Mechanical,Electronics, Production,MetallurgyDesired Skills and Qualifications:&middot; Fluency in Kannada and English language.
