Job Summary This is not a typical bookkeeping job.Yes, you'll manage client books. But this role is built for someone who wants more &mdash; someone who wants to be the person clients trust, the one who keeps the firm running, and eventually the one who sits across from a business owner and walks them through what their numbers actually mean.We're a growing bookkeeping and CFO advisory firm serving 30+ small business clients, on our way to 50+. We help business owners understand their financials, make better decisions, and build healthier companies. Our team is small, trusted, and excellent at what we do.We're hiring the person who will become the operational and client-facing backbone of this firm &mdash; and who, within the first year, will be on a direct path to a leadership role in client advisory.WHAT YOU'LL DO<ul><li>Manage a portfolio of recurring monthly bookkeeping clients</li><li>Handle month-end close, reconciliations, and financial accuracy</li><li>Communicate with clients by phone, email, and text</li><li>Follow up on missing documents and keep open items moving</li><li>Answer incoming phone calls during business hours</li><li>Help monitor deadlines, workflow, and client status</li><li>Work closely with and help oversee a bookkeeping support team member</li><li>Learn to explain financials clearly to clients</li><li>Grow into delivering monthly financial reviews and client meetings</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Strong bookkeeping/accounting experience</li><li>QuickBooks Online experience required</li><li>Ability to understand and explain financial statements</li><li>Strong organization and follow-through</li><li>Professional and confident communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities</li><li>Proactive, dependable, and growth-minded</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Construction, trades, or service-based industry experience</li><li>Experience in a client-facing accounting role</li><li>Experience reviewing or overseeing another team member&rsquo;s work</li></ul>Why This Role Is ExcitingThis is a great opportunity for someone who wants to do more than day-to-day bookkeeping.
