SUMMARY:
General Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Associate assists with general warehouse duties, receiving inspection, shipping, performs light maintenance, delivers, and picks up materials, maintains stocking inventory in warehouse and show room, stocks beverages and snacks in show room and warehouse, performs routine filter maintenance and keeps up general appearance of exterior of all buildings and lots. Interacts with operations personnel and management from all departments on a regular basis.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
50% Assists with maintenance and general warehouse activities.
<ul><li>Helps maintain grounds around all buildings, sidewalks, and lots at BCS.</li>
<li>When closing, close and lock all internal and external gates and doors, set alarm if last one out, park forklift and turn gas valve off.</li>
<li>Pull parts for outgoing tickets and stage for shipment.</li>
<li>Helps warehouse coordinator in maintaining warehouse and show room inventory at established levels.</li>
<li>Assists with incoming inspection of parts, receiving and outgoing parcel, and LTL shipments.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Promptly executes shipping and receiving tasks.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Assigns and places material to appropriate job in project staging area.</li>
<li>Coordinates materials for project managers and parts business to assure timely delivery.</li>
<li>Follows pre-determined schedule for inventory counts and reports any discrepancies.</li>
<li>Assists with parts returns to stock and factory.</li>
<li>Answers BCS Parts phones and directs calls to appropriate person, as needed.</li>
<li>Uses BCS POS system for inventory control and customer inquiries.</li>
</ul>
40% Provides support to other BCS departments.
<ul><li>Stock BCS Parts refrigerator with beverages and snacks.</li>
<li>Assists with loading, unloading, and storing product for other departments at BCS.</li>
<li>Delivers mail, boxes etc. to employees.</li>
<li>Assists Accounting with Purchase Orders.</li>
<li>Training or LG lab setup and teardown, as needed.</li>
</ul>
10% Delivery and Maintenance.
<ul><li>Delivers parts to BCS Parts customers, as required.</li>
<li>Executes BCS building maintenance schedule Fisher&rsquo;s cleaning as required.</li>
<li>Picks up parts for BCS Parts as required.</li>
<li>Assists with delivery and pickup of BCS vehicles, as needed.</li>
<li>Maintains the interior and exterior of Parts truck to be presentable to customers.</li>
<li>Help maintain a clean, neat, and organized parts, staging area, and service warehouse.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
<ul><li>High School education or equivalent</li>
</ul>
Skills and Experience
<ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects and duties simultaneously</li>
<li>Strong work ethic and ability to stay productive with minimal direction</li>
<li>Ability to communicate well with others.</li>
<li>Strong problem solving ability.</li>
<li>Organized with an attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li>
<li>Mathematical abilities to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and create and interpret graphs.</li>

<li>Current forklift license</li>
</ul>
Other Requirements
<ul><li>Requires travel to and from job sites, primarily within the local area and Kansas</li>
<li>Personal appearance and uniform will consist of safe and comfortable attire that also represents BCS and BCS Parts in a high professional standard.</li>
