Lead Building Engineer Job Summary: 
 
The Lead Building Engineer performs building operations, customer service, and community enhancement. We&rsquo;re looking for someone who will complete or assist with tasks related to electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and other trades within a commercial building. Daily duties will include working with the property management team to perform preventive maintenance, respond to service tickets, and provide a safe environment for building tenants and visitors.

</ul>PRIMARY BUILDING ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul><li>Perform building and systems inspections, making necessary modifications to building systems</li>
<li>Complete Preventive and Corrective Maintenance requests professionally</li>
<li>Work with vendors to complete contracted work orders to meet expectations</li>
<li>Maintain records, reports, and evaluations, and provide recommendations regarding necessary building maintenance operations</li>
<li>Identify and help to order parts, materials, equipment, and supplies that are needed</li>
<li>Manage Building Management System (BMS) / Energy Management System (EMS) as directed by Chief Engineer</li>
<li>Maintain a clean engineering shop, mechanical plant, mechanical rooms, and general appearance</li>
<li>Follow all safety rules and regulations</li>
<li>Perform related work as required</li>
</ul>QUALIFICATIONS: 
<ul><li>3 - 5 years maintaining equipment and systems in commercial buildings</li>
<li>Possess demonstrated high-level mechanical skills and abilities with HVAC equipment</li>
<li>High-level experience and skills in operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment</li>
<li>Basic technology skills necessary to manage work order applications on mobile phone and learn to operate Building Automation Systems</li>
<li>Some supervisory experience over team members is required</li>
<li>High School diploma or equivalent, and must be able to communicate effectively in English</li>
<li>Occasionally work overtime to perform necessary repairs or maintenance that are necessary to complete during off-hours</li>
<li>Must meet the occupation requirements, such as lifting 50 lbs., walking distances, kneeling for 1 hour, and climbing ladders.</li>
<li>Must have reliable transportation</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check</li>
<li>Must possess a CFC Universal certification</li></ul></div>
