Our bakery is looking for qualified employees to help us keep growing.Positions available: Baker, Finisher, Sorter &amp; Food PackerJob Type: Full Time/ Part TimeShift Availability: Mon-Sun 1pm - 9pm + Weekend availabilityPay: $16.50-$18/ hourAddress: 2560 Progress St, Vista CA. 92081Position Overview:Baker/ Finisher: The Baker/Finisher will be responsible for baking and finishing the Company&rsquo;s baked good items, including donuts, bagels, croissants, etc. The Baker/Finisher will be expected to execute proper pre-bake, baking, and post-bake procedures in a timely fashion to produce consistent, high-quality finished baked products to customers.Sorter/ Food Packer: Production/Packaging line worker is responsible for maintaining quality of food and documentation for food production line, ensure proper production and packaging with quality, speed and accuracy, communicate with staff on quality issues, identify potential problems, and work in a fast paced packaging line.Responsibilities:Work on a fast-paced and continuous production line. Label and package food products by hand and machine for shippingRead and match label and film information in English. Understand and be familiar with food allergensResponsible for documentation and provide signature to verify compliance with all required quality specifications and procedure checks for the assigned areaEnsure all safety devices are fully operational and that safety procedures are being observedCommunicate daily with manager, supervisors and leads on status of a variety of projectsMust follow all safety requirements of the position Required to wear PPEs such as slip resistant shoes and GMPs such as hair nets, beard nets, lab coats and glovesAbility to complete assigned paperwork such as recording lot numbers. Will frequently perform sanitation on line equipment, parts and surrounding environmentMay require cross-training on various line positions and job rotation Follow and improve area processes Understand and followStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that pertain to your area Other tasks as assignedRequirements:Ability to speak, read and write English fluently as it pertains to fulfilling job requirementsBasic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionMust be available to work any shift. Flexibility with schedule requiredMust be available to work overtime hours if neededAble to work in a team environmentAbility to effectively communicate with and train fellow team membersMust be able to multi-taskPhysical Requirements:Standing and walking up to 10 hoursFrequently climbing stairs, walking, bending, and squatting (up to 10 hours a day)Able to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs. repeatedlyAble to continually bend, stoop, twist, use arms, use legs, wrists and hands (including grasping and squeezing) throughout shift.Able to occasionally kneel, reach above the shoulder, work at heights and climb steps with ingredients weighing 25 to 50 lbs.Regularly required to speak and communicate with others in EnglishJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hourWork Location: In person
