Position Overview: Manhattan School of Computer Technology is seeking qualified Part-Time Accounting Assistant Instructors to teach in our Accounting Assistant program. These positions require individuals with a strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and office administration. Instructors will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for successful careers in accounting and finance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Teach courses related to accounting principles, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and other related topics.</li><li>Provide practical training in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel).</li><li>Develop and deliver instructional materials and assessments aligned with the program objectives.</li><li>Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.</li><li>Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.</li><li>Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure the effective delivery of the program.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Dedication to student success and academic excellence.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.</li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hourAbility to Commute:<ul><li>Brooklyn, NY 11230 (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Brooklyn, NY 11230: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Brooklyn, NY 11230
