<p>Busy Bee Preschool in Firestone is looking for an Early Preschool Teacher (0-3) with a proven track record of lesson planning, superior classroom management, and great communication skills.</p><p><br>
Our classroom teachers will ensure that a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children is maintained while adhering to the daycare&rsquo;s standards and state regulations.</p><p><br>
We are looking for someone that can work well with a team. Must have experience working with children (ages 0-3) in a classroom setting. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.</p><p><br>
We are looking for a person who takes the initiative, who is energetic, and can think outside the box. We strive to find a balance of academic and play based philosophies in our classrooms and we are looking for the same in our employees.</p><p><br>
We offer smaller student to teacher ratios in all of our classes. We are privately owned, not a corporate center.</p><p><br>

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Duties</b></h3>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><b>
Support Classroom Teachers:</b> Assist co-teachers in various classrooms, providing support where needed, including leading activities, supervising children, and maintaining classroom management.</li><li><b>
Adaptability Across Age Groups:</b> Work with different age groups, adjusting care and teaching approaches based on the developmental needs of each group.</li><li><b>
Maintain Ratios:</b> Ensure proper staff-to-child ratios are maintained, especially during breaks, staff absences, or transitions between activities.</li><li><b>
Assist with Transitions:</b> Help children transition smoothly between activities, such as moving from playtime to mealtime, or preparing for nap time.</li><li><b>
Classroom Preparation:</b> Assist in preparing materials and setting up activities, ensuring the classroom is organized and ready for the day&rsquo;s schedule.</li><li><b>
Child Supervision:</b> Maintain a safe and secure environment by actively supervising children, addressing their needs promptly, and intervening when necessary to ensure safety and well-being.</li><li><b>
Communication:</b> Collaborate with other staff members to communicate effectively about the needs of each child, any concerns, and the general flow of the day.</li><li><b>
Classroom Cleanliness:</b> Support the cleaning and maintenance of classrooms, including sanitizing toys, cleaning surfaces, and organizing supplies.</li><li><b>
Follow Policies and Procedures:</b> Adhere to all daycare policies, procedures, and state regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of children.</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Requirements</b></h3>
<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><b>
Education:</b> High school diploma or equivalent required. A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education is preferred.</li><li><b>
Experience:</b> Previous experience in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting is preferred.</li><li><b>
Skills:</b></li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and age groups.</li><li>
Understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices.</li><li>
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.</li><li>
High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.</li><li>
A strong understanding of child development.</li><li>
Must clear full background check and must pass health assessment</li><li>
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.</li><li><b><br>
Certification:</b> CPR and First Aid certification is desired or willingness to obtain</li></ul><p><b><br>
Physical Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.</li><li>
Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.</li><li>
Ability to engage in physical activities with children, including outdoor play.</li></ul>
