GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION In support of the marketing functions of the organization, the Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for carrying out the following essential duties and responsibilities, either directly or through the assistance or coordination with other members of the marketing and administrative team. This role assists the President with the following essential duties and responsibilities:INTERNAL MARKETING:&middot; Assists with internal marketing and communications initiatives&middot; Supports fundraising activities and maintains President's donor contact information; assists President in reviewing fundraising and sponsorship opportunities making sure they are beneficial for the company&middot; Designs and creates marketing materials including brochures, announcements, invitations, and forms.&middot; Supports the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing&middot; Independently coordinates marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral&middot; Coordinates product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management&middot; Assists with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs, internal and external newsletter (Constant Contact) and public relations efforts&middot; Evaluates and monitors campaign performance&middot; Researches audience preferences and discover current trends&middot; Creates engaging text, image, and video content&middot; Edits and formats company resumesEXTERNAL MARKETING&middot; Assists in management and follow up of marketing and communications in the organization to ensure follow-through on meetings, opportunities, and ideas for collaboration, etc., and ensures these efforts are effectively and efficiently carried out, and contacts are kept up to date.&middot; Leads external marketing and communications initiatives while also supporting the President's business development efforts&middot; Provide external support at industry events with the ability to speak on behalf of the company of capabilities and business verticals&middot; Manages relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness&middot; Facilitates online conversations with customers and respond to queriesSOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING:<ul><li>Leads and directs marketing activities by maintaining current website information, social media posts, community and volunteer activities, corporate branding, image-wear, and promotional items with the Administrative and Marketing team.</li><li>Creates, proofreads, and edits copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports</li><li>Designs posts to sustain readers&rsquo; curiosity and create buzz around new services</li><li>Measures web traffic and monitor SEO</li><li>Stays up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness</li><li>Reports on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans</li><li>Develops an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics</li><li>Builds a public brand</li><li>Oversees social media accounts&rsquo; layout</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Have you lead a team before of 8+ ?</li><li>Do you have experience with Internal, External and Social Media Marketing?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>SEO: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Survey Monkey: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
